    My dream is for Green to just let our offensive stars go, let them do their thing and get creative. They have so much more to give but they need to be free to play an aggressive high skill style. It just seems like after a couple years here everyone’s offensive creativity dies and they become predictable perimeter players.

    Agreed Green is a bad coach. But honestly these are professional athletes and they’re gassed by game 4 of the season..? And it was after a 2 day break between games. It makes zero sense to me how tired they looked.

    Green said last night that he doesn’t expect Hughes to out long if at all so I expect him to play tomorrow. That being said why on earth is Hunt in over Burroughs? He was a minus 3 and played against Buffalo’s 3rd/4th line most of the night! My god Greens decision making is so frustrating.

    I really hope he picks it up as well and starts to figure it out. Or else we’re in big trouble and back to searching for a #1C

    I don’t think Pettersson gets any free passes anymore. We all accepted this kind of performance during his ELC cause he was young but now he’s coming off holding out and then signing a big bucks contract and he needs to play like it. 3/4 games with no points and no presence to start the year is unacceptable from your #1 center. He wants to be on a winning team but he needs to help the team win.

    It’s been this same style and story for years now, I think everyone has run out of chill. The personnel has changed so much and yet we get the same on ice product. It’s lame.
