How many years do the Canucks offer for him to accept 2 mill?

How many trades have been so good for the Canucks?
-
Is it just that you have an avatar of an intelligent and sensitive hockeyplayer you actually seems to grasp what’s important. Other seems to not understand the difference between different management groups or coaches.

This is also a false narrative. If you and I have a different view of the team it isn’t confusion. I believe we compete with the same team we had last season for a play off spot. For me it’s a done deal unless Petey and Hughes get injured but that can happen to every team. And we have room for future growth.

The last vesrion I read had 21 roster spots fixed and our injured players on there. So both Poolman and Pearson can be lifted from the cap. How is it then? Do you have a screen shot of your version? The next season is a bit of a go as far as we can but we’re to weak to win it all. So our prospects as Lekkerimäki, Pettersson and others have one more year to cook. Other young players that won’t be so expensive is Hogz, Podz, Johansson, Kravtsov, Bloom, Hirosi, McWard and those I forgot… How many cheap players do you want?

If we look at players available at 11. How many of them is ready for NHL in draft+1? ASP is one of those and maybe the reason why he’s probably gone by then.

Another cbj van trade proposal
Timråfan replied to Mikebeezy's topic in Proposals and Armchair GM'ing
If we got a chance at ASP I would take him instead of Peeke… He will only play one season in SHL before joining NHL. If it is with us Lekkerimäki, Pettersson and him will come in before season 24/25 but if ASP is gone when it’s time for us to choose I could go for a trade. I’m not sure how many other players are ready for NHL in draft +1 of the players available at 11. -
Because we have the players to get us to playoff the coming season. We don’t need to rush it. We have players that are injured and at least one will not come back this year. A little sidestep here… If PA trade away the 1st some here will believe it’s a stressed decision when it’s a calculated strategy to get the bpa for us. And if that happen he will throw away one of the wingers we don’t need because we trade dollar for dollar also. There is no chance anybody here can claim two lottery tickets is worth more than an established player. Fine, you get two cost controlled players but you won’t know if they ever play in NHL. So, can you please answer my question now? Or do you have more questions instead?

For me it’s about the window that is opening in front of our eyes. If you look four years ahead and see Hughes disappear you miss a lot of what will happen before. Here you show that PTBSD some of us are talking about. We needed a really good RHD. Forget about drafting that guy. We can chill now when we have Hronek and try get a RHD prospect that may be Hroneks compliment in top 4 later. But we need the player for the core going forward. And again, we’re not in a cap crunch. If we were PA wouldn’t have signed Boeser, not traded Miller for a lot of prospects etc. PA got a lot of oppurtunities he couldn’t resist because the players were too good. Mikh as in quick, Kuz as in exciting and cheap, Hronek is one of kind deal we haven’t seen very often here, Beavillier came in as one part of a must deal in getting Hronek and Räty. Wich new players were bad for the team going forward?

So what is the other necessary moves to lesson the cap concerns? Since you say necessary it means you know them. I sure like that the management is flexible when they see an opening. Do you really want them to be stubborn and miss players just because? Why is Boesers terrible? It’s short and is off the books when the real window has just started. Regardless what we think of him he produce points and if the medics say to PA that he is about to get better with his injuries his trajectory is upwards Ok, Mikh has speed. One thing we need as you probably recall since you remember other things PA/JR said( why does it seems you only remember the quotes that fits your narrative and not the other ones?) Miller and Kuz delivers points. How do we manage to replace a 40goal scorer and a ppg player in one year without overpaying? Please explain that for me since I can’t get my head around that small problem… Regarding prospects, Abby starts to workout as a real reservepool for the Canucks. We almost didn’t miss a beat when we got injured players. PA brought in a lot of young players. Where would we stand without all of them? Way worse regarding both prospects and young players. If PA does the same one year more it’s insane compared to Bennings way.
-
I don’t think we need to pay to get rid of a contract. But now I also adapt the posters saying all kind of trades were turned down by PA. Those posters were a bit interrwined with the doom mongers. So if those posters were right we are not inproblem because if that was right PA definately would have traded Miller to get those three firsts and push the window one year down the road.

add a competent back up goalie: check, Silovs have Myers and OEL return to top 4 level d performance- or replace them. : Check in season 24/25 have adequate 5/6/7 th d men: check, in abundence added size up front- and on d : Here it still needs added snarl up front, and on d : still need maybe added quality penalty killers - so E.P. and Hughes can get more 5 on 5 time: Nahh develop the 2nd unit power play: check, Hronek and OEL back in business is the key find a good quality 3rd center: Räty is the key her decided on a adequate 4rth line center: check add over all team speed, check not so much to get, with a bit of luck only size and snarl can be an issue if not Tocchet got a solution for that.

Look at his stats from WC last year and you know why I was high on him since then. Probably the easier games but Latvia isn’t a star team either.
