  1. So Vegas will have 12 mill tied up in goalies. I suppose Marky want a 30 mill contract in total. 6x5 or 5x6. I think he accepts a 8x3 with no NMC also...
  2. Yeah, I know, tell Green to hire me.
  3. Yes and it happened before. But Vegas hadn't adapted for that line with Loui so it might have been really good for Horvat and Pearson. If Loui was injured it wasn't much to do.
  4. Because an injured Toffoli can't give Pearson and Horvat what they need. Loui was good at that.
  5. Well, in a serie that takes a toll on the players muscles Loui could have stepped in with fresh legs and battle in front of Lehner. Especially since Toffoli disappeared and went from an asset to a burden for his line. This decisions should come quicker for Green. Sometimes it seems he is either stubborn or afraid to make hard decisions. Pearson went missing also against Vegas...
  6. He might be one of the few young players left that need a coach like Babcock.
  7. Are you willing to skip next years play off just because you don't value great goaltending? That is the meani g of a step back if not Demko can fill up Markys shoes. In my view the goalie is the key to winning games. Then you can mold the defence from the goalie and so on...
  8. ...should have played when other players were injured. Release the Bull...
  9. Good take on it... The fans here love to go for players throats as soon as they see a weakness and don't understand how important the coach is for the players game.
  10. I'm talking about one game. If Green can't trust Demko for one game I don't know what Demko doing as back up. Trust the players and you get much more back. Marky need a break at back to back games. To don't give him that when we play the most important games of the season is just foolish. If you want Marky to steal games give him a little break... This is a Green learning a few things also.
  11. The short shifting is something Green did a lot in the regular season. As I said, 2 minor changes... But sometimes it's enough to change the scenario. With Toffoli or Boeser Horvat couldn't do what he wanted. It's very simple. Why ride a hot goalie that had to handle almost record breaking shot against during the games against Blues and Wilds. That's not good at all. I call it stubborn especially since Marky had an injury before. And it's not in hindsight. I and a few others talked about it before.
  12. Yes, Green should have played Demko in all back to back games.
  13. Petey, Hughes and Demko is the ones impressed me most. The rest was a great team effort. Now I hope for nex season to top this.
  14. We could have won with only two minor changes by Green. First Demko should have played the first back to back against Vegas. I think most of us have seen Marky suffer when he plays back to back games. Much easier to get injured also... Marky had a lot to do before against Wilds and Blues. If Demko played the third game as he did the other we could have won. Then Marky in the next game without injury. Both goalies in top shape before the last three games. Second As soon as Toffoli played injuried, or at least a game after, Loui should have played with Horvat and Pearson. That's because Loui set both Horvat and Pearson free. Neither Boeser or Toffoli can do that, especially not when injured. Sometimes Green seems to be too stubborn. I haven't got a clue why he rode Marky so hard.
  15. I repeat what another poster wrote... What if Demko ends up with under 0.91 in regular season? Then, why didn't Demko show these qualities when he stepped in when Marky was injuried? Is it you and a lot of other fans over reacting??? Demko did a lot of really good saves, similar to what I've seen Marky do a lot of games. So I'm not sure what games you watched if you not seen them from Marky...
  16. I saw Marky couldn't see the puck in a lot of the goals. But fans here whined about bad goaltending anyway. So they will whine when Demko is screened also... Think about it... The ice was bad as they say. That means it's harder to get control of the puck, harder to use skill to score. Demko did some marvelous saves but he also had a lot of luck. The team also defended very well around him. The last game was worst. Anyway, to get rid of Marky after such small sample of games is just ridiculus. We need them both to compete next year and I want play offs next year also.
  17. I want both goalies because I want to win. Toffoli isn't worth even a third of Marky. So Marky is much more important for the team. If the goalie is good anyone out there can score a gwg. Wich this team has showed.
  18. This play off is killing me. I have to get up 3 or 4 in the morning to watch the games so my sleep is pretty bad. But I'm loving it.
  19. Well, if we want Stanley Cup the best way to get it is to have two great goalies. How Benning will solve I don't know. The best is if the goalies share the starts for the best of the team instead of thinking only for themselves Think of Petey, he would have a bit more goals and assists if he was a bit more egoistic. Now he is team first wich we saw the result of today. I've said for a long time that we should protect Demko and give Marky a big paycheck. If we then lose Marky in the expansion we get a better cap situation so we can try some other routes.
  20. I hope this game goes like the sixth game against the Blues. I'm satisfied with 6-2 tonight. I think both teams will go with a lot of energy in the start so I want a quick goal for us. It's time for that...
  21. Yes, and made it because the team was deep. My point was that Binnington when he was fresh surprised a lot of teams. Now not so much. If you drop Marky and ride with Demko now and we loose first round next play off because other teams figured him out by then. Are you willing to take that risk just for cap issues?
