  1. Again, I don't want Loui there to score... I want him to get the defence shattered so Petey, Hughes, Miller and Boeser/Horvat get more space. With his stick and hockey iq he will do that. Let him teach our young players how to play in the crease.
  2. And he took the defensive pressure of Horvat so Horvat could play as he wanted. The reason Loui should be on pp1 is to take pressure of Petey, Hughes etc because he will tie up people around the goalie. He got the iq to move so the defence have a hard time with him one man short. It's the position he used to score earlier so why not use him at his best... Pk, with Horvat and on pp1.
  3. Schenn is a borderline case. I've seen him throw hits that is dangerous or might exploit earlier injuries. One hit at Boeser in last game par exam0le.
  4. You need to excersice in tough games and Loui isn't utilised like that. That's why I'm talking about having him on pp1 so we free up a good player for pp2. Pp2 lacks a really good player to steer things up. Loui can fill the hole in front of the goal and make sure the puck stays in offensive zon in pp1. I really think his abilities suit pp1 great. Especially since pp2 really needs a Horvat.
  5. It ends here with 6-2 Canucks Petey(with a hattie when Binnington is back)
  6. I think he follows orders... Especially after what's happened before. Listen to what Green said about shortening the time between changing lines.
  7. I really hope Trump doesn't watch the Canucks game... If so Marky is lost to the border against Mexico.
  8. He's not there to score, he ist there to pull the defence apart so the others get more room... if so he will probably get some more points so you be happier .
  9. The funny part is that the games the Blues had the home advantage linewise we won and when Green took over we lost... Someone with better knowledge than me can check what differences it shows.
  10. Definately a break when it's back to back games. It takes a lot of toll on the muscles to be concentrated as much as he has to be in these games.
  11. I think Loui got the iq to help tear the defence apart on pp. I haven't seen Mac play that way yet. I thought Mac seemed lost a few times...
  12. My solution is to put Loui on pp1, park him on front of the goalie wich free up space for the others, and take Horvat to PP2 so out second unit get some power. Loui is close to score in that position so use him there.
  13. Well, for two games the refs have treated the teams different wich means our players get to careful when they're afraid of penalties. So this is great for the team to learn the more subtle forms of interfering and to get to the next level. Play hard and stay out of the penalty box. Or is it diving skills needed? Either way this is a great series for the youngsters.
