Nope, I believe he's the best option for Horvat now when we are trying to get 3 scoring lines. He's maybe a top 9 player but I'm not sure even about top 9. -

I don't think it's necessary to fire them because I believe they can learn to be a leader. But they need to recognize this problem within the organisation and solve it. -

Not with this team. Didn't you notice that the 4th Line with Sutter and Loui wasn't forced to dzone only as the 4th Line usually is? Virtanen needs a lot of games with Horvat to know where to be. He can be att the top Line due to Peteys adapting skills. MacEwan shouldn't have fought because it was exactly what Columbus wanted. Bailey is more interesting due to His Speed. -

The 4th Line was almost more visible because of Sutter and Eriksson. Normally the 3rd Line is lights ahead. Not today... Wonder why heh -

This should havet been an easy win. Then Green take loui away from Horvat. First mistake... Then puts in MacEwan that can't stay away from a fight. Sit MacEwan and Roussel. Let Bailey start instead. I want to see His Speed instead of fighting grunts. -

Taket some pressure of Peteys shoulders and confuse the other team. Virtanen- Miller- Toffoli Pearson - Horvat- Eriksson Bailey - Guadette - Pettersson Roussel/MacEvan - Sutter - Motte -

7-2 Canucks Canucks Horvat, Tkachuk -
It depends on how Marky does the rehab. If he comes okt stronger in the legs/knees we will see even more spectacular saves...
-
Demko is good so this will be just fine. Marky will probably come back even better. I believe he has the mindset at rehab to come back stronger in his legs/knees.
-
I've seen a lot of comments about Marky letting in easy goals when the pucks are deflected or sight blocked by players. Marky might have played as good as now only that he had a much worse defence in front of him before.

Just what Horvat said and how that line has played since Loui started there. Matched against the top lines and come out on top almost every time. If Loui only was a servicable defensive vet that line wouldn't be so good. He knows how to behave offensively also. -

In this cap era Loui helps keeping our prospects at bay. The sooner the player come up, the sooner their salary will rise and Benning will be forced to trade away a promising player. Sutter, Baertschi, Loui and a few others will be off the books and replaced by cheap prospects. But now when we push for play offs players like Loui are really valuable. He is worth the 6 mill if he can help the team in the play offs. The game against Bruins showed just that. Loui was involved in the 3 most crucial goals wich led to an easier aftermath for Petey, Miller and Toffoli so they could feast. Why change a vet for a prospect when the games get more important? -

As a bottom 9 Loui hasn't a decent chance to get points. Look at Beagle, Motte, Schaller and so on. What do you think of Louis goal against Bruins? Is Loui a sniper? Isn't he some kind of garbage man? Takes care of the litter around the goalie. -

Well, talking about beating again... Green has played a tactical, rebuilding game I believe. It means he play players in different positions to either learn them another skill or test players in that different position. Rebuilding phase as I heard. This means that he played Loui in a bottom six due to strategies we don't know anything about. Loui won't skip any money unless he gets a role in scouting/management. He got over 2 years left on his contract so the past 3 seasons isn't anything to bother about. Do you want him to change name? But one thing I don't get is why fans like you don't listen to Horvat. Horvat has played with a lot of players the last two seasons and I can only recall that he thinks Loui is where his linemate should be. So why not be happy that Horvat can play a more offensive style. -

Alf has talked about over 50 points for Hughes. I think he is the one who talked most about how good Hughes are. -
