One of the reason I want Silovs and Demko playing almost 50% each is due to injuries at the high level they play. Maybe put in Martin a few games also. They flex their bodies a lot and when they make those almost impossible save the muscles/ligaments get torn a bit. Then they have to play a back to back game and injuries might happen. So all the small injuries over time is the reason why goalies fade away.

It seems like som people can’t see anything positive at all. They just put their head down and wait for miserable times…

We still haven’t seen a whole season of Team Tocchet. You just have to wait and don’t be so grumpy before you know anything.

So how good has the team played with better structure and close to an AHL defence? I think PA had right when he said they were competative. Then we will see how it goes with Hronek and better preparations before next season.

Why call it a waste winning games? Every win is important and Silovs learn enough playing 20-30 games.

The rush is about winning games. As PA said, only 6 lost games from playoff. Why would we waste the 2nd best goalie in AHL for? Both Demko and Silovs get less injuries when they can lean on each other.

It would be even better to get him back to when he was 23/24 years old and show a similar development like EK.

Wich two 1sts and plus plus plus is gonna contribute more in this four year window with Hughes than Miller? Explain thoroughly and not by just give some moronic rant of how bad this and that is.

He will play over 30 games to keep Demko healthy. So you think playing AHL is development? If Silovs is a great goalie he doesn’t learn much in AHL. Don’t you remember that he spoke of how quicker NHL is? That means that AHL is slowing down his development. If I compare it with reaction in gaming. Do you develop young gamers by letting them only play the easy games or levels?

We will see how he fare during the playoffs. If he caves then you got it right and if he plays as he uses it more my way. He is young but he is the 1st goalie for his national team par example. So I don’t believe he will have any problem mentally. That fire you talk about is ordinary life for him.

That is the real easy part since Silov isthe backup. Did you forget about him? Then we have Martin if one of them get injured. He is playing better now in AHL with better defense. Better defense will also help him in NHL next season.

By then Lekkerimäki comes in as a top 6 so you can shift away Boeser then.

I think it was how he played in WJC 18 No canadian player through history has a better ppg than him. Not Bedard or McDavid…

I don’t believe this at all. Maybe players like Virtanen but he is not the ordinary NHL player. I believe the ”get in shape”- excuse is just an easy way out of hard questions if the team doesn’t perform. If someone on the team can’t be motivated he just hires a PT to fix the problem long before training camp. That excuse resonates very well with a lot of fans so it’s very easy to use it and get away with it.

Hasn’t PA amassed almost 20 players plus one draft. How do you compare cap management?
