  1. Boeser is said to have lost his edge. Demko seems to have problems returning to his usual self. I’m not familiar with the injuries TBL players had.
  2. Is it a good strategy for a GM to not offer contracts to players with an injury history. Especially if it’s injuries affecting how they play? Par example an forwards shot/speed, a goalies side movement, fighters/hitters concussions etc,,, Players I remember that had a history of injuries coming back to bite us is Ferland, Baertschi, Boeser, Demko. I assume there is more.
  3. Wait for it, if the team continue this we might have Bedard times 3.
  4. What? The Preds just got a bit tougher and the Canucks caved in. That is really bad and it’s because we’re not tough enough due to smaller players that get intimidated. I didn’t talk about replacing OEL. I’m fine with him. It’s the whole deal that was bad.
  5. Yes, but too much money, cost too much pickswise and gave too little(only one year of the trio traded) Then, we’re too small teamwise and Garland isn’t good enough to change that.
  6. If so he would have tried to assess his defensive liabilities. Has he tried that and sacrificed some of his offence?
  7. Please, in what way did I troll in my post? Can’t you see the difference between opinion and trolling?
  8. As I said earlier it’s easier to use stereotypes to show differences. I don’t have a problem discussing with stereotypes in an ordinary discussion. At least in Sweden an american climb on others to gain position. And swedes tend to work towards a common goal. It’s just stereotypes and in reality it’s all over the place. But why do I need to explain that in a simple discussion online? It’s not like I going after a PhD on this forum.
  9. Remember that Petey doesn’t bother about pressure on his shoulders. That’s why he’s an extremely good role model. Millers not, far from that kind of role model as Miller seems to cave in under pressure. So remember this, Petey doesn’t need anyone to take pressure of him.
  10. Yeah, he's a thug but our stars could have played without slashing or bad hitting. The way the team is composed now with small players like Garland, Höglander, Hughes and even Petey it's too easy to intimidate them.
  11. The only one I can think of now is Lucic. If Benning had signed him instead of Loui it would have been much better for the team. Our fourth line needs a bit of thug in them and we probably need to trade away at least two of our small guys.
  12. Maybe, I don’t usually look at guys modelling. I’m just a boring stereotype of a man. Here he is in a pretty new commercial https://youtu.be/vm2WXk7ilYA
  13. We really need the tougher guys. The Preds just pushed us around for the win. It shouldn’t be possible.
  14. I would love it if they played together for a long time and Miller stays as a winger. Bo has earned a great winger for some time now. I thought it was ok with 8 mill for Miller so if he just try a bit more defensively I’m fine with him staying. But I don’t think he’s the guy the young ones should look up to. Petey is way ahead and he’s much younger. Petey works the whole ice, will win probably more than Miller and is a role model in behaviour.
  15. Henrik is doing a lot of schampoocommercials in Sweden. So maybe they share bottles also.
  16. If you and DLC get stuck on sterotypes so. I only use them to highlight the problem. Neither of us can spend all evenings writing small books on what a team is or what an ego is. Sterotypes is pretty useful to get to the point rightaway. Or did I misunderstanding the point again?
  17. Well, we have a different opinion on what a team is. Neither of us will change their opinion.
  18. Typical american for me is a guy who thinks about himself first and put the team second. As a swede I put the team first and myself second. Hence I disliked the young Zlatan in football because of that. He destroyed the ”team” Sweden for his own ego. Miller is almost there…
  19. He definately has to give away some free dinners. He reunites with some old pals and for some that’s good enough. Hang out with the Lundquist twins might be nice. Free schampoo maybe even.
  20. First and foremost, he’s a typical american and I’m a swede. I don’t see him as a team player. He’s moody and that is a disaster for young players to see.
  21. No one seems to listen to me…Miller isn’t a role model for the kids to follow.
