[Rumour] J.T. Miller Trade/Contract Talks
Timråfan replied to Podzilla's topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
Is it so bad? Hughes/Schenn worked out good. OEL with Dermott can be fun and a stay at home Myers can excel. -

(Rumour) Tkachuk trade in the works

Nah, Benning’s gone so it’s fine niw. -
Be honest now, Gillis had very high draft numbers compared to Benning. The important thing is that Gillis hired the guy who seems to be The scout the Canucks had. Neither Gillis or Benning was hired to scout players so it's just stupid to compare draft picks between them. The GM has the responsibility of the whole company. There were Gillis top notch as you said. Benning the worst I've heard or seen by myself.

Can you give up simple minded analyse you got? You got Benning that managed to draft a few low numbers but after those players almost nothing. You talk about defence. We only got one jet and that is Hughes. Both Rathbone and Woo has to earn their spot on the roster and talk about them afterwards if so. Not before when we know nothing about their ability on the highest level. After the trading of a lot of dratfs Benning handcuffed the team with really bad contracts so the new regime has a problem going forward. No players on ELC on their way in and no cap to take on a good RHD. All on Benning The critique against Benning isn't ten years old as the garbage you're spouting about Gillis.

Is the team any closer to having an identity?
Timråfan replied to Canuckfanforlife82's topic in Canucks Talk
Ok, the problem here is that posters here use that game against the Sedins in particulary. They don’t blame AV or the league… I like to put the blame on the right subject as you probably noticed in my earlier heated discussion. -

Agree, but a fair few here are stuck with the images of punching the face and nothing happened. Same fans that drooled to get Ferland because of similar negative images stuck in their head. Some people can’t handle negative images. It breaks them inside out. -

Well, the Sedins are in the game again so great offensive qualities, intelligent/creative but soft in top 9. Typical Swedish approach according to some here. -
[Signing] Canucks sign Ilya Mikheyev

Those that like the energizer bunnies think intelligent players are bad. They defend differently but the bunnie runs around a lot more so it looks like he does much more defensively. -
[Signing] Maple Leafs sign Calle Jarnkrok

He didn't fit the Sutter style in the Flames. Not good at all -
The only thing I could loose Hogs for is a good RhD. So Miller ,Hogs, Garland... for Theodore maybe...

[Signing] Coyotes sign Troy Stecher

Pity, he suits BBs hockey well and would have been an offensive threat witha LD stay athome. -
[Rumour] John Klingberg waiting on Canucks to make a move
Timråfan replied to Mikey87's topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
He will only be the best player if he sabotage for Petey. Remember my words, Petey will dominate, also be best, pointwise if not injured. Regarding Klingberg, he doesn’t fit the team going forward. If Allvin should do something it is to take draft picks, players and go for real good young RHD. -
Regarding Dahlen he had a real shot playing with the big guns there and didn’t put up enough points and was too inexperienced how to play in NHL. So ship him back to SHL where he fits nice. Petey would have got 100 points his first season if he had the same oppurtunity. With the Canucks Petey did a lot more with players like Loui and Goldobin…

Well, I think he was a child back then and I hope he has grown mentally and left the ”fan” view of what happens… Do you really think it was something to bother about regarding the medal? He wanted a gold and referees robbed him. He didn’t want anything else. Similar as the nucks fan that think being second in NHL is worthless.
