Looked at a couple of sites and the Nucks, based on probabilities have a 7-11% chance of making the playoffs. Inversely, they have an 89-93% of NOT making the playoffs. JB needs to realize this year is done and accept he needs to make trades to improve this team long term. The rebuild is not done by any means, and playing .500 hockey and thinking you're close is idiocy I'm sorry. And I am a supporter of JB.

So you think they should be concerned about selling tickets for ten games (which would be walk ups only at this stage), vs looking to improve for the future? What kind of ridiculous nonsensical point is this? Is that how the team should make decisions? Really? As for whom, elder is skating, Tanev is not out for the season, gudbranson. This idea that many on here keep parroting about “injured players can’t be traded” is false. None of the names above are out long term / out for the season / playoffs. Injured players are easily traded for full value - they simply need the other team medical specialists to confirm the injuries are minor.

1. Aquilini is not a dumb business man
2. The amount of sales from walk ups for 10 games doesn’t mean anything to him.
3. The vast majority of revenue is already booked given season tickets and tickets already sold
the basis of your comment doesn’t hold water, decisions are not being based on the peanuts from ten games of walk ups.
