It amazes me how these situations can exist for as long as they do. If I understand correctly this bullying by Miller went on for 8 years and was discovered at age 14. From age 6 to 14 years old Miller was bullying this young boy. Why didn't the teachers, other kids or their parents or the victims parents pick up on this situation? Very sad.

Sorry Sam but I thought Naslund choked fairly regularly. -
[Rumour] Bo Horvat Trade/Contract Talks

Bo looks pretty down these days and I doubt it is all about play on the ice. He could be gone. I certainly think there are others that should go first. If Bo goes then it is a tear down. Go Lions! -
This team is pooched, why aren’t we playing the kids?

You have to play the vets in hopes that they can be moved at some kind of value. It's early yet. There is enough fire power in the group that they could still make a push. The problem is if they are too successful it might lessen the resolve that a tear down has to happen. The Zachman is playing regular in Philly and has 5 points in 9 games. Hmmm.... -
At best he is a 4D and many nights he is a 5D.

Is it me or has the d-core play got much worse without Walker and Shaw? It appears so to me. -

Any player who pulls a 2 minutes shift would be benched on my team. There are 2 players on the Canuck roster who do that on a regular basis. -

Anyone who thinks the Canucks lost last night because of Demko should rewatch the game. Turnovers in the d-zone and neutral zone cost them the game. Trying to pass their way up the ice when dumping it into the ozone when they were up 3 - 0. A fragile team that needs wins should be playing the conservative game. They had to take pressure off the d-core who are challenged at best of times. -
My attempt at humor didn't go over. We will be doing a drop in on Tuesday. Thanks.

Ya but I am looking for a Covid shot.

Tried to book are 2 booster last week. The hospital isn't doing shots and Shoppers was the only option. They are booked thru November. Called Shoppers and they said to do a 'walk in' and they would try and get us done. Last year the hospital had lineups outside the building with 5 stations inside doing shots. What the hey?

[Rumour] Bo Horvat Trade/Contract Talks
Boudrias replied to HOFsedins's topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
Bo's scoring tear puts holes in a lot of assumptions by many pundits. A lot of those goals are coming from primary assists by Miller. Is this scoring tear a blip or a real indicator of Bo's offensive upside with the proper wingers? For me resigning Horvat was always more important than the Miller deal. His age is complimentary and his FO% has been consistently good. I suspect management is looking at their prospect pool and wondering if they have someone there that can climb into the top 6 and play with Bo. Perhaps we should get excited by McDonaugh who has a great shot and size! If this is a rebuild on the fly then Miller and Boeser should be moved. That might not happen until spring. Management will have to see where the strength lies with this group. The better Miller plays the more easily he can be traded. If Boeser gets healthy long enough to play 20 games move him asap. -
EP40's consistency has really stood out. Top forward on the team even with Bo's gpg tear.

Investing in the stock market - Discussion

I remember paying 7.5% and 8.1% back in the late '70's. I wouldn't buy real estate right now unless I had too. Very little rental in my area. -
Who determines what is batshit? Zuckerberg, Bezos, Pinchai (GOOGL), Murdoch, CNN, CBS, NBC or Musk? I suggest the left has focused on Musk because he has made comments about Democrat politicians. Simple solution don't use Twitter. Don't give politicians the opportunity to make decisions over who can criticize and who cannot.

When government starts making corporate decisions and exhibits a general ignorance of how capital markets work then be prepared to reap the results. Markets reflect far more reality than politicians do. Debt at all levels and government spending has devalued consumer pay checks and that gets little discussion. Banks profits trigger a 'special tax'. Oil companies finally crawl out of a 8 year depression and their profits trigger a 'special tax'. The fact that it was government action that raised much of these prices, again does not get much discussion.
