yup...elias maybe 3-6 years left untill he has peaked in his evolution and on his way down...i wouldnt b surprised if he leaves along with a few others. must come down to how much does he enjoy being in vancouver in general over where does he gets the best chances to get the cup before he peaks. I knew it was gonna be more even this year, but thats impressive numbers and there is definetly prestige to win something like this. solidifies him taking the next step and shows hes grown and gained some strength.

to put it in simple words: i would have preferred Bo over Miller.....but miller had an outstanding season last year and earned a great contract, but Bo should always have/had a higher priority, with the importance of his faceoffs and overall usefullness in key situations. a great allround Center....now we have lost someone that had an all-star year because A: miller got a great contract AND B: the canucks poor team performance. Boudreau and Bo are therefore the scapegoats/pieces made to make differences with. i can only say what i mentioned to start this post....i would have preferred bo to stay over miller. now we trade Bo and start a rebuild coz the team couldnt play well enough. sad to say....but also, the teams performance is the key in all this. a worse performance then previous year is simply not acceptable. our team was better this year but we still didnt win enough. fancy that.....now hogs and podz are in the minors and Bo is gone...a lot of trades incoming this offseason and hopefully those 2 will be back and we get some good picks for the wingers that will be traded/removed from the team.

we have different playertypes on the team and im glad we have joshuas physical play. im not sure its the way to go for everyone to play as he does, but if we can combine that type of power with skill and smartness then we got something good moving forward. hats off for joshuas last game....keeep it up and il enjoy watching him on the ice for sure...

yea life is a gamble this is no difference. what i see should b a rebuild is that u start somehting where the team is supposed to play bad coz u want draftpicks and potential that 3-5 years from will lead to something....gonna be a lot of gambles up untill then, but if management wants more picks ur gonna see a lot of game losses. personally i wanna see podz and hogz back so they can evolve coz if u dont care about winning why bother why not let them get more ice time on the top 6?

that could b something....but mentioning the gambles that paid off compared to gambles that didnt work out wont make anyone happier...

gamble on a medium type of player, also got a rookie center...another gamble.......and the most definite we have is a pick in the 1st round, which is another gamble.

well ill b.....a win and 2 goals for petey. Studnicka should have had one or 2 more i think. Sad to hear about mikheyev whom i think was one of our best players, with an injured knee even. Considering mikheyevs defensive role im not sure what to expect but id like to see either hogz or Podz return....

true, u need new material for real change. a wholre rebuild would b the way to go. then those abt to negotiate new contracts must decide what they want and why. just saying....stay for the evolution or try for another team? what are the players after and why? what does management want to do wtih the team? u want to be with a team that aims to play bad for picks the upcoming 5 years and hopefully get a new core with that, meaning ur career will end when the teams potential new winning team is abt to emerge...u gotta take that into consideration...thats why those players got to make up their minds. if ur happy..then stay....but will management want u to be there?

ya but, if my name was pettersson, Horvat, Boeser, Kuzmenko, mikheyev abt to negotiate contracts and being fully aware ur gonna go for a tank the upcoming 5 years, id get the f-out asap...

all this signing is driving me f-n crazy.....does the superstars consider that high of a salary over a competitive team? a fair salary is for sure to be expected compared to other players in the league, but i say somewhere between 9.5-10.5 for 8-10 years seems fair to me. gotta remember also that the league is about to increase the cap by minimum 1 next season and with all likeliness a total increase within the next two years for 4-5 mill.

eyyy...nice win! Delia made some big saves....first part of the game i thought millers line was the best but many players stepped up tonight and had a good game. EP40 2 assists...bo with goal and 2 helpers, Miller with the shots bouncin his way... yup...that was a fun game to watch and a great win.
