Do you have a source for that? Because all the reports I’m seeing is it’s still affecting the older population a lot harsher in Italy then the younger population. Plus affecting the younger population in a 1st world country that has good healthcare seems like a horrible situation to me. Especially with the system being overrun.

  2. What can I say?

After five years without playoffs, it's legit to be disappointed when your team starts a losing streak in the most important period of the year wasting third period leads or losing to botton five teams or losing to teams in terrible shape.

It's legit to be upset when two of your best players (Markstrom and Boeser) are injured.

The only tip I can give to myself and to you Canucks Nation is: let's look at the silver lining!

    Three steps.

    • Think about our situation in 2017 and make a comparison: in 2017 we had only Horvat and the hope to have something in Boeser. Period. Now we have an elite 1C in Pettersson, an incredible offensive dman in Hughes, an all star and former Calder Winner in Boeser and a good prospect pool. We have a new captain, a Vezina caliber goalie and a goalie that could become an elite one.
    • Finally, after four season, we can enjoy some meaningful hockey games. We can cheer for our team to win and not to lose like other season.
    • Last, if we will miss playoff we will have our 1st pick back and who knows. Wait, not saying we will win the lottery. We are the Vancouver Canucks but still...who knows?

    That's my best.

    But yes, I'm upset.

  3. I’m really upset and it’s rare for me.

Considering the 82 games season, it has always been easy for me to focus on the next game.

This time is different: we played a bad game in Montreal and luckily get away with the W and yesterday we had to show that lesson was learned and put a great effort on the ice.

Instead, we were terrible again vs a team that had on the ice 12 players with 1 or less goal in the season.

You can’t put this type of effort when you’re playing for playoffs and you have to deal with a lot of teams behind you that are in great shape.

Honestly, I loved JT Miller reaction after the 4th goal.

If players are upset as we are, they will not play anymore in this way until the season ends.

I really hope we will make playoffs and I want it so badly for us and for the team BUT if we are gonna miss postseason I will think about this game (and the sweep against NJD, of course) until October.

    Terrible loss.

  4. Quick thoughts:

    - Not our best game but still two points. Pure gold.

    - Great game by Demko. He is strong minded, love the fact he was able to stay confident after two early goals.

    - Captain Bo is the leader and shows up when we need  confidence to start the comeback.

    - Look at Canucks’ record with Motte on the ice. He brings so much to the team.

    - OT was impressive. We are so skilled.
