  1. There is a rift and it shows on the ice - imo. Anyways, what are they supposed to say; and would be interesting, to see how Miller will answer, if asked again ?
  2. Good points; and instead of more roster tweaking: Aquaman should be re evaluating the leadership group (with the staff), on how they will handle the current situation.
  3. Good points; and not sure, if he fits long term but short term - maybe. Canucks have to get this right and giving a new staff a good chunk of this season, might be a prudent move for next year (like Sutter with Calgary).
  4. Yeah, we got to experienced Messiers' trademark leadership - dark times. Just like players acquired, there is no guarantee that the player will do well under a coach- Schmidt & the recent additions from the Yotes (as individual players, they are doing well but the team is still a mess under Green).
  5. The division in the locker room (if your, post is true), is showing in how Green is deploying the roster: Pearson with Horvat is a mainstay, whereas, everyone else is in the blender. Just like with Schmidt, there is no guarantee an acquired player will thrive & buy in into Greens' system - it seems, Green is more of a political animal than a coach.
  6. I get it cause most time, what is being made public is just a distraction. My bet: a desperate trade happens to buy time till the offseason (?).
  7. Hopefully, JB is having a moment of clarity cause all of the rumoured moves - only indicates a leadership group (including the Staff), that has no clue on what to do next.
  8. This tweet, sums it up; and is (perhaps), why the Miller trade rumours are heating up.
  9. Yup, if he had any idea on how to win in the NHL, he would had done it already - clueless & mediocre.
  10. If Green knew how to be a winner in the NHL - he would had done, it already; and continuing, to recycle the same mediocre solution proves: he is clueless & a mediocre coach at best. The same can be said, for Aquaman & crew; and a desperate trade will confirm they have no clue, as well.
  11. Good points ! Not confident that this leadership crew (including the staff) can deliver; except, for perhaps a top 10 finish cause we all know the importance of loser points, to maintain the illusion of a winning culture; and anyone, with some sense can understand, that at that stage of the season, it is about padding stats and the lottery cup.
  12. Good points; but it will come down, to who will be making the decision. If the leadership group remains (including the staff), remains then we can expect the same mediocre solutions.
  13. If the leadership group (including the staff) remains the same - then we can expect the same mediocre solution. Anyways, good points...
  14. Sadly, a desperation trade seems inevitable, with a good chance, the acquired player(s) will underperform under Greens' tutelage. Imo, cheaper to keep a player with Millers' calibre than re acquiring a similar player - unless, ofcourse the Canucks pick top 3 in this loaded draft.
