  1. For tonight, it was Gibson who stole game; and it will still be an uphill battle to make the playoffs. I would still preferably, like to see this roster with a different coach.
  2. This game could had gone either way - but this time it is Gibson (11-2 record vs Canuck), who stole this game for the Ducks. Great effort and hopefully they can bury there chances next game....
  3. CANUCKS REALLY TRYING TO HURT THE BOARDS WITH THERE SHOTS
  4. Where is Apricot for the SHUTOUT POSTS. I will try SHUTOUT SHUTOUT SHUTOUT - I give up
  5. Something similar, is alot better than watching the intermissions.
  6. Haven't seen an intermission show for awhile now.
  7. That line needs a player with some finish- Motte ? Dickenson as a fourth line center would be a good place to start.
  8. Last year, might had been his last ? Just read about what they are calling long haul covid
  9. Just did a quick Google and hockeydb list him as a center - Green should know though.
  10. Would like to give Motte a chance with Gar & Podz in the third line; and Dickinson with Pearson as a shutdown fourth. But this will be up to Green, if wants to role four lines
  11. Just to re iterate - one is getting paid 6 million to be a minute eater and the other was signed at 2.5 million. For me, it is about expectations that comes from the salary; and from my POV, Poolman has NOT been noticeably bad. Anyways, it seems you like Myers - then agree to disagree; and in tonights game, if Myers is in the PK then I hope he does a better job clearing the puck. Also, I didn't mention anything about Poolman in my original post; rather, I just commented that Myers should not be in the PK.
  12. Good points and perhaps it is time for Pearson to be with Dickinson to form an expensive shutdown line.
  13. Nucks or Laffs would be my guess, unless one of the CDN gets hot like MTL last year.
  14. Human nature; and good on the Ducks for investigating the accusation. Hopefully, if he is cleared the accuser has to also face the same scrutiny cause it should really be about the truth (and nothing else)..
  15. Thats for the coaches to figure out and fix. At this point, I've seen enough examples of Myers failing to clear the zone and it is costing the team wins. Other than a brain fart or two a game, he has been solid d. If he was, getting paid Poolman money then I would probably give him more slack. Next time, the Nucks are in a PK and Myers is on - pay attention when he gets a chance to clear.
  16. Yup and good chance, there will be some that will continually remind us of any draft mistakes or etc - hindsight GM's. Anyways, hoping for a good showing tonight.
  17. Keep Myers out, until he fixes his issue of clearing the zone.
  18. I get it but I want to look at how each pieces will progress; and five years would be a good timeline to truly asses this trade - imo.
  19. Skipped this draft cause the Canucks didn't have a 1st
  20. Not sure but he seems to be doing well ? Ofcourse, Arizona could had gone with someone else.
  21. Too early, to judge the trade but looking good right now.
  22. Good points and good chance, JB and Aquaman have a date in my mind. Yeah, another 10 game with the same result, would even be a hard sell to the groupies, to not be wondering if a coaching change is need or any change.
  23. If the current staff is retained and based on Greens tendency on deployment; it should be obvious to JB (by now), that personnel is very important to Green; and instead of wasting time & assets to acquire a player, a serious conversation with Green has to happen first prior to any making any moves. Preferably, I would like to see this roster with a different coaching staff before any more roster tweaking. A much needed win last night, but what happens in these few games will say alot if the team had turned the corner.
