Depends on who is making the decision and so far, there management team is no better than when the Oilers had Chia as there GM. Very stark contrast to how Holland is leading there ship now vs Chia; and it is showing in the standings.
Although, the Oilers still are a Mike Smith injury away from making the playoffs or not.
Despite the drama, the team got 7pts out of 12pts - could had been better; and hopefully, in this long homestand they can iron out somethings.
Hope to see Podz get in
Deployment and game day roster are on the coaches. Good chance, JB will always ask Green about players and there fit in his system. Doesn't make sense to acquire a player without Greens' input cause it his decision whether the player plays or not.
The overall record under JB & Green has no bias; and preferably, I would like to see this roster under a different staff before anymore expensive roster tweaking(s).
Sheesh - after a 5 vs 5 PP by Seattle, Garland buries one. Grubauer laid an egg and I will take it.
Hopefully, Green doesn't protect the lead and instead keeps the pressure up.
Finally, it is the Canucks turn with a late goal !
This is how Seattle beat us in the offseason with a less talented roster by playing a very structured game once they took the lead and Grubauer took care of the rest.
