  1. So sad but to be expected, when player safety is not really the goal - rather the illusion of one, to perhaps protect the league from any lawsuit.
  2. Benn almost became a part of another goal highlight from the opposite side...
  3. Awesome, uniforms ! Hope Bailey and MacEwen shows something to stay and play some meaningful mins.
  4. Yeah, pretty amazing, what Nurse and Masai, had done despite the roster turnovers. Hoping, for a win and two points closer to a playoff berth. GCG!
  5. An expected respond from a loser cause the evidence is in this thread. All your response was garbage gibberish: name calling and the expected response of a child - you have more knowledge in hockey (even with that you failed). I never said, I am an expert in hockey - just fan. Also, another typical loser move - (your welcome for), taking credit for my stated opinion and adding nothing to this conversation. I could go on but that would only bring me to your level. Anymore, name calling or whatever, is all you got and it will mean nothing coming from a loser like you. Don't change cause you would not know how to anyways - Loser loser loser loser loser.... Opportunity: without the name calling, clarify your stance (using your own words).
  6. No backpedal, I just repeated what I said. You on the other hand are deflecting and backpedaling.
  7. Sucks, for the Sedins and all there great accomplishments, that they are also remembered (by most/some) for the abuse they took with no response. Responding, in that manner was just not there nature and they fought back the best way they knew how - can't blame them for being themselves...
  8. Dont think Calgary would. I like Bo as our Captain but he needs to show, ever so often that this is his team and douchery will not be tolerated. Iam sure if the each one of our players will start standing up for themselves (first) then the rest will take notice.....
  9. These Zebras are not rule enforcers but rather game managers or interpreters of the rules...
  10. Maybe but we dont really know the personality of both QH and EP to contend with the Tkachuk's ? Question: do we want a team to take the personality, of the MT or EP40; someone who plays within the rules or at the edges.
  11. I would argue, Ratchuk, did not wait for his teammates and bit back then ran/turtled like the rat he is. At the very least, He faced the challenge that he started his way. Ofcourse, the difference is: Ratchuk started it cause he is a douche and EP40 just plays within the rules.
  12. I agree, that EP40 should keep his glove on but perhaps ever so often bite back hard like Crosby, OV, McDavid (once/twice, if I remembered correctly) and so on, just to send a message to other teams and also to his, teammates that he will stick up for them as well. The games will get nasty from here, especially, in the competitive Pacific with so many teams so close to each other and the playoffs - it is even nastier. Imo, if his teammates can see that he will stick up for himself and them, then perhaps the pedestrian veterans (as stated by another poster) will take notice. Ofcourse, we don't know what kind of conversation(s) are going on from within the locker room cause (if we notice it) they also have to be aware of this too ?
  13. Imo, team identity, can come from both the coaching ranks and players but it is the coach that sets up the rules/team environment.
  14. How this season will end, should help determine Greens' tenure as coach. Imo, he is still developing (just like our young core) and I hope he wins with this group but his destiny is, mostly, in his hands and the players.
  15. This should be plastered in the locker room and hopefully, it will send the right message to the right person/group.
  16. My original post is, it is not time to panic (with the picture of the current standings) cause there are still enough games left to adjust/learn and at this very point, they are still at the top of very competitive Pacific. If you truly understood/read my post then we can perhaps agree on some things. But you obviously, have your narrative set already, in your psychic mind. Obviously, they need to play the games to learn and get better. Secondly, whether they make the playoffs or not, how they play these remaining games (hopefully meaningful) will matter cause it will show the true character of this team (both players and coaches). Thirdly, if they get to the playoffs, I hope they play a tough team cause that should only help this team (especially, the young core) get better moving forward (but who really knows and I am sure, when they fail, you will be there to point it out and let us all know). Anything else and please read the post before answering impulsively, so that I am not repeating myself.
  17. Yeah, they did look tired closer to the end of the road trip (although the compete level seemed high).
