  1. The current FO, are all signed to short term deals, which only gives the leverage to (the architect of the mess) Aquaman and sadly, the current FO will eventually be used, as scape goats for failing to implement his (flawed) plans. Hard to believe, that JR is allowing himself to be played; and ofcoures, I am just making an assumption but the actions of the current FO are all looking very familiar: doubling on JB & Aquamans' roster. Anyways - TRUST THE PROCESS, whatever that means.
  2. Yup; and I believe we can all I agree that we all support the brand but the apathetic part, is towards the owner.
  3. Yeah, but the short term deals Aquaman gave, JR & friends are quite concerning cause they seemed to be more worried about their contracts, instead of fixing the team. Just look at what Illich gave Yzerman and it seems that roster is ready to contend, after 3 years of rebuilding vs 8 yrs of retooling under a malleable GM.
  4. Yeah, the highest paid players on the team are some of the worse performers but their icetime would not be affected.
  5. Yup: playoff fodder or the Purgatory Cup. Basically, the Cup drought continues under, Aquaman.
  6. My version of NHL Purgatory: not good enough to make the playoffs and not bad enough to draft a Bedard or a difference maker...
  7. Horvat (just like Miller), is highly motivated and looking to get paid or lock in that final retirement deal.
  8. What a conundrum: sign Bo & the same roster remains vs the uncertainties of trading him. Can Allvin be trusted to make a good deal, with Aquaman holding a contract over him ?
  9. Aquaman and his ideas is still here: constantly, chasing a playoff spot. Also I agree, that the Stillman (mainly) and Dermot trades were not REALLY necessary. In the regular season, the team can compete but in a playoff setting: this roster is, at best playoff fodder.
  10. Yup, the cycle of mediocrity continues, as long as, Aquaman refuses to accept the truth: the team needs to rebuild around the 24 & younger.core cause the current roster seems to just be a collection of individuals vs a real team, which makes them uncoachable & unaccountable to anyone/each other. Anyways, to Aquamans own peril and the fans frustration...
  11. Aquman is one stubborn brat, who still believes he knows better and that HIS roster is a real contender The team is not cohesive and the on ice product, is a perfect reflection of what is going on, off the ice. Despite a winning streak, ever so often the team at best, is a playoff fodder. I just can't see this group winning a cup and a similar finish to last year, will only cement their status in mediocrity: NHL Purgatory. The short term deals, Aquaman gave to JR & friends says alot..
  12. A very skilled bottom 6 player, for the AV's with a very low cap hit - if he sticks...
  13. This trade seems to be mostly about Allvins' analytics department: trying to unearthed a gem. Instead it is CHI, that sold high and will more than likely, be trading Dickenson for something...
  14. Yeah, he certainly is, headed in an uncertain future that was created by himself and I am not so sure, an NHL team will take a chance on him - perhaps, in a different country where the norm, is very different...
  15. I understand the business end: Bear is highly motivate & looking to get paid, and the cap crunch will make it hard for the Canucks, to retain him. Unless, they magically, open up some cap..
  16. That is exactly one of my MAIN point: being a good example, but most don't understand what that is or is unwilling cause of the personal cost it might entail.
