I agree, the pre cap years were MOSTLY mediocre but right now, their is a cap - which means parity and the rules to contending, is very different. As a longtime fan, I am not in the forum to question the dedication of any fans or imply anything but let's not be naive, that apathy has not set in for some (lifers/longtimers) due mainly, to the same tired strategy of playoff chasing, at the cost of futures. Selling the same roster and expecting a different result, is just insane; and atleast, in those mediocre years we have the opportunity to see a top 5 talent vs being a team STUCK in NHL Purgatory, that has no/limited cap space. I get it cause I had seen most of it, as well - but this is year 51 not xx or year 19 under Aquaman.
