    sounds like a lower AAV for some security in length of contract. Ideally under or less than 3m per for 6 years

    Myers 6m, Beauv 4.125 and Pearson 3.250 are off the books come July 2024. Peteys making 7+ and Hronek is making around 4.5, i think we'll be ok even with OEL penalties quick look at cap friendly, for 2024/25 the canucks have projected 35million in cap space with 9 players signed, and the cap increases too

    What need would Duchene fill here? he's not better than Petey or Miller Hes not a defensive 3c with strong Pk & faceoff ability he'd be another winger in the mix with Kuzmenko, Mikheyev, Beauvillier, Boeser, Garland, Podkolzin, Hoglander and Pearson. a no thank you to duchene and glad he signed in Dallas

    it's like a neat little wish list of depth signings the canucks could really benefit from. few players i wouldn't be against signing for cheap, Mcleod, Geekie, Gadjovich, Macewan, Benoit, Foote, Wilde, Scheel for abby and maybe Blackwood to duke it out with Silovs and Martin for potential back-up. Ian Clarke is a very good tendie coach
