  1. Then what about the fish and what not feed off what comes off that stream.....you can't just take water away there will always be a ripple effect
  2. You guys would start out so poor though......kinda like a cross between China / Mexico cultural wise......business would still keep going but there would Chinese to help with china and well maybe Mexico will give you tips on tourism and your drug business lol
  3. Lol I've heard this before. Difference is I rather run out of oil before water but go for it ha. But those fish will die cause streams won't get it , you will sell it....look at the Colorado river.......just cause you start out with a bunch of water doesn't mean it will last......
  4. Your right but what happens to those underwater streams dry up and how does that help the parts of b.c that don't have access to the ocean? I think your forgetting there a lot of b.c that doesn't have the ocean around it.......... haul water oh Alberta would love to give you your fuel bill ha or you want electric trains fine but where you getting the money to build it? And don't forget by doing that your sending a lot of people out to paster.
  5. Hip your comparing apples to oranges.....also that resource project would have had less damage then pano or Inveremere ..... Your vacation market already sent the animals packing not like a pipeline can do more damage
  6. Make with what? Your government would bend the rules for the logging industry it would be like Alberta with oil.....only thing is oil pays a lot more....
  7. Good try hip but you know what I mean and if you can honestly say b.c growth hasn't hurt your wild life , il shud up.... difference is you guys have way more wild life threw out b.c unlike Alberta but our soil is more Rich overall and is better suited farm land.... so those sites look bad when their dug up but they do grow back and a lot of times richer cause the land was worked up....
  8. Yes but that's unnatural......and you don't see what's wrong with that? Your the one out of touch with reality.
  9. Where you going to put all the people that will want to move there? See what I mean.....thx to the beautiful mountains you only have so much useable ranch or livable land.... you going to take ranchers crown land so you can build more vacation rentals? And don't forget all those golf and ski resorts cut into logging also......both hurt your natural beauty and your wild life....
  10. Different landscape..... with the mountains you only have so much useable land......and you can't continue to push wild life further up....
  11. Sure in some areas but the over populated areas have already pushed out wild life.....doesn't matter which way you go but your hurt one or the other
  12. I agree if any province left Canada b.c would be the best off but what about grain? Also b.c already has a shortage of tradesmen....... I agree you guys have some big industries but your beef and vegetables arnt in the top three and you need to be able to feed your people....can't over fish or hunt cause that hurts long term...... your welcome ha anytime.
  13. How doesn't ? You know how much crown land b.c has? And how many ranchers depend on it not to mention wild life.....you like those big parks? Say good bye.....or what about guiding out fits ? A lot of your industries need untouched land.....so that right there limits your growth....
  14. You are right but only thing is cause of tourism it damages other industries and also pushes wild life out...... How many skill hills do you need within spitting distance.....not to mention golf courses......also thx to all that tourism you have made it damn near impossible to start a ranch or farm in areas unless you look around williams lake or yahk and there's other areas that you can buy cheap but your driving like three hours just to see a vet......not to mention I don't even think there's an auction mart in the cranbrook area....so where you sell them? A lot of your cattle gets sent to Alberta ...... also a lot of b.c is still remote and that limits those areas business opportunities......
  15. Is your biggest city at risk of going bankrupt lol b.c is a hobby farm a lil of everything but can't make enough off one thing to support the family......maybe b.c should have taken kinders money lol
  16. I know it's sad a whole part of b.c living off Alberta scraps or even the worlds scraps.....heck tourism is living off scraps cause their a big luxury.....how do you think people afford it.......they move to Alberta work like a dog and buy the place they want in b.c........and then offer your locals seasonal work taking care of it. Maybe if b.c was as smart as some people think they are they could build a stable industry that could compete against oil in earnings. But until then take the check and walk away that's not meant at b.c as a whole just liberals
  17. No I'm just pissed off that some of b.c has forgotten where it came from.
  18. Actually I send 40 to all my aunts and uncles on their birthday and there's 9 of them in b.c ha funny thing is a lot of those investments firms in van buy oil and gas companies......they don't pump more money in b.c...... heck Inveremere has Alberta appreciation week lmfao if that doesn't say thank you for spending your Alberta money in b.c I don't know what is but some places know who butters their bread....... Maybe go for a drive threw cranny to Banff pretty much everything you see from the flats to Banff is thx to albertans ......
  19. No I mean the fact that people didn't want the pipeline but they still wanted those big pay checks....... also Alberta has helped every province one way or another. Oil money flows pretty much threw everything in Canada but Alberta needs a pipeline and everyone screams no and once again Alberta comes riding in on its white horse.......
  20. Yea cause all Alberta ever asks for is to put a pipeline in ha that's it. So see how the relationship is more take then give? even the bail out in 08 has been made back......
  21. Actually it was first approved in 2016 and here's some other food for thought. https://www.canadaaction.ca/tmx_pipeline_facts_you_need_to_know
