    Every year in the playoffs when the Canucks are not in, I always choose a team to follow. Keeps me interested in hockey. I choose those teams usually based on the players I like. If the Canucks are in however, it’s war.

    He’s a good piece but he is an aging piece. We have let to many players go for nothing. We need to improve and he might be a good piece to package.

    Make the trade at 50% retained for Hamonic. One small slip and he’s out of the NHL forever. For the gamble at 3.5M.

      I doubt Miller’s gone in a year. He probably gets re-signed. Miller carries like 90% of our offence.

      I could see us resigning Miller but I don’t know how he fits at 6+ million. Would it be beneficial to trade him at the deadline for a 1st+prospect to a contender? Or do you trade him next year for a 1st and resign him in the offseason? So many assets have walked for nothing, worst trend of the Benning era, IMO.

      Too many factors to decide whether he gets re-signed or not. Where we position these year and next year. Can Pettersson step up and take on that role of carrying us offensively every night.

    If we have up next to nothing, I would pull the trigger. The minute there is an issue. Minors.

    I think if you got him & he knew one slip up and he is done in the NHL forever. I would give him that chance if we have up close to nothing. We would be paying him 3.5M/yr. Could be worth the gamble in a short leash.

    Trade him this year at the deadline. You will most likely get this. I think it would be wise to make this trade. I don’t believe JT is in our window. Maybe in 2 years.

    Pearson is reminding me of Morrison. Retrieves the puck and distributes it really well. Serves defensively for the other two forwards.
