https://www.nhl.com/video/kampf-scores-goal/t-323734044/c-8119532 gaudette throws it into the shins three times, then his teammate piks up the rebound and scores https://www.nhl.com/video/duchene-opens-scoring/t-323734044/c-8118327 on the goal against. gaudette is slow to react to the play, so much so that the defenceman yells and points to the man hes supposed to be covering. gaudette then should have skated hard towards the defenceman favoring the center of the ice. gaudette did the complete opposite he glided and favored towards the boards. at the end of the play gaudette was about 5 feet out of position and 10 feet further away then he should have been. the defenceman wisely faked the shot and made a play. gaudettes third/4th? mistake is with his stick. he is not doing what he is supposed to do. You have to get your stick in line towards the puck. only after the pass does he attempt to get his stick infront. here is a good 2 minute video on what he was supposed to do. if he reacted quick enough ther may have been only ten feet between the players instead of twenty, meaning there would be less time for the defenceman to make a play there is a reason he played the least amount of time for both teams.

Edler To Have Hearing Today [Update: Suspended 2 games]

terrible call imo. the only reason this happened was because hyman doesnt even glance up, when taking control of the puck. if he did he wouldnt have made that attempt to get out of the way when it was too late. kerfoot glanced over at hyman like "what are you doing?" edler is just protecting himself, if they missed knees surely their skates would connect and edler might have went head first into the boards. no one would have got hurt if hyman reacted before 0.3 second's before contact or just braced. -
he was released to be deported. hooray?

f, that. somehow, someway even if your careful, that hood is going to end up in the toilet while your doing your buisness. unless its got one of those rear compartment doors.

Jim the Scout, not the Asset Manager

i think this year is different than last year, a new team is adding 81.5 million to the pool of salaries. but comparing contracts with last years contracts i valued his work at 2.8M. theres been 3 other comparables this month and LA'S Iafallo was the closest, they also have very high tax bracket, so that makes sense. time will tell, but I believe there will be way less 1 year covid deals. -

everything except the scoring, the wingers are supposed to feed the center in the slot/ top of the circle, (somewhere in that area) remember how many grade A chances he had in front of the net? just to slide it along the ice right into the pads? it was the little things -

LOL, all i can think about is that lady doing a whole segment on how courageous Nylander was for returning to play after a 14 day break from hockey, he didn't even have covid. then they interviewed him and had the nerve to ask how he was handling the break from play. I think after the interview hughson piped up and reminded the viewers, he did not have the virus -

one thing that will greatly help, is just not having to play 6 minutes a night with gaudette. one of gaudettes main defensive/offensive roles was grinding in the corners. I cant wait till were healthy and we form Vesey Sutter Virtanen, he's definitely going to improve our possession metrics on that line. -

they do a good job of explaining how a good player can have negative corsi on a bad team.since myers plays the majority of his minutes with the bottom 6 and also "almost" evenly spread out with the other defenders, the numbers are favored negatively. it's the bloody eye test, hughes is always hopping over the boards when we have possession and especially if its the top line. schmidt and edler jump over the boards with BO, and Myers gets sutters and beagles line. iv'e spent hours and hours on the site, reading how the numbers are crunched. i've also spent alot of time reading how the collapsing system works, and it explains how loui erikkson was a boost to horvat and pearson last year. Loui erikkson often played the centers role of BO's job, instead of erikkson grinding in the corners it was bo. LE was the hover guy hanging around the circle, he played with one foot out of the offensive zone ready to retreat (normally the centers job) bo maintained his role in defensive situations, however. http://www.puckiq.com/ https://www.nhl.com/news/jim-corsi-describes-strategies-to-beat-shot-blocking-defenses/c-293981674 i really like tthis article it shows you how to not play the collapsing system https://www.pensionplanpuppets.com/2013/11/4/5059676/collapsing-defensively-leafs-coaching-breakouts-101 -

end of period 2. TO is somehow playing a way too complicated and also at the same time too simple of a game. I literally watched myers not move for 10 seconds straight on the 5 minute major. how thick are they? -
