  1. kuzmenko's 67 points in 61 games prorated to 82 games = 99 points *.74 khl translation = 67 points over 82 games. Thats a first line forward for free!
  2. our roster will not be better without miller, for that to happen we would need ep40 to score 100 next year and bring in a replacement center that could put up 65 points for less than 5.25 million. that still would not increase our scoring. for our team to get better we would need to eliminate bad cap, trade overpriced players for bargain priced players. i want to get better so bad but teams dont usually trade thier good value contracts. TBL did it with goodrow, coleman and savard they got a cup out of it, but i dont think we want to trade 3 firsts right now to win only have to rebuild because we have no new players coming in.
  3. man ppl are salty about a kid deciding where he will live and work. the season isnt starting tommorrow and free agency is miles away too. if i had the luxury of the amount of time he has i would do the exact same thing as he is.
  4. Edmonton all though not the most beautiful city it fits my lifestyle really nicely. I cheap out on rent to save money and spend most of my time outdoors in the many parks we have drinking a couple beers listening to music or reading a book. it really works for me because i want to live in western canada and it's a center hub to most construction in the west. a max 1.5 hour flight gets me home when my shift is over covering 3 provinces. I have noticed a lot of trades people call edmonton their home.
  5. all salaries count against the cap. LTIR effects the cap in a special way , which allows you (potentially) to go over the cap limit.
  6. well hes on pace for the second highest point total of the playoffs ever, so not that far off
  7. my advice to you is to google it, or ask this question in the nissan forum. www.nissanforums.com
  8. https://www.capfriendly.com/teams/goldenknights they have enough cap, barely.
  9. Roman Josi, is quietly having the most offensive productive season for a defenceman since 92/93. he is on pace for the 12th highest point total of all time. the top ten are 2 players coffey and orr.

Fox is still my choice for the Norris, but Josi is second. Makar is fine defensively, but not enough to pass Fox or Josi. Makar is 3rd right now for me. Hedman is 4th. Hughes is unfortunately not in the top group due to his "okay" defense.

It's genuinely insane to think that in this age/era we could see two blue liners break the 90 point mark.  Makar without Mackinnon healthy; I am now not so sure.  But Josi may very well hit 100+ points with his 17 games left.  With 19 games left Makar COULD hit the 100 point mark but he'd have to have an absolutely monster end to the season.

I don't think it's been that quiet, but he ended up better than Weber and Suter, which is hard to believe.

  10. taking into account inflation canadians made the most per hour in 1976 and has been steadily declining since then. the average price of a home has increased nearly 20 times since then, while the average income has only increased about 2.6 times. average salary 65k in 2020 and 25k in 1976 the average house is worth 1000000, down payment for houses over 1 mil is 20%. down payment for houses between 500k and a 1mil is 5% for 1st 500k and 10% for anything above. lets say your house is 800k. that down payment would be 55k. if 2 people making 65k a year living in a 900 square foot apartment, with 2 cars( including maintenance, fuel and depteciation ), 90000 of debt and investing 10% of thier salary into retirement. this will leave 500 left over each month, if they never take a vacation or get a fine. it will take 110 months of never vacationing or getting a fine to save up 55k for a down payment. almost ten years of near perfection. https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/canadas-unhinged-housing-market-captured-in-one-chart
  11. its not both, its social democracy, they are completley two different things. social democracy still rewards the driven hard working people, where communism does not. https://www.thoughtco.com/difference-between-communism-and-socialism-195448
  12. yes it trickles down, and of course well also be taxed as well. increase everyones well being, and not creating these people with so much wealth they need to give it away just to make themselves feel good about themselves
  13. well your wrong, what im suggesting is more of a social democracy. communism is equal pay and rights for all. capitalism with wealth caps and basic rights is a social democracy
  14. well then your totally misreading me. i want the 99% of everyone to have happiness. im not trying to bring you down or anyone here. im just fighting against people idolizing these fake gods. they have taken more than they gived, and they need to make it right. billionaires philanthropists are basically angels of life and death and because they are dictating who recieves help and who doesn't. they should not be allowed to have this power over the poor and helpless. i dont have a solution, but i do know what going on isnt right.
  15. im not a communist, i just believe there should be a cap on max wealth. no one needs more than a billion dollars, if they cap it then, capitalism will start to function more normally. a trickle down effect is supposed to happen, but doesnt anymore
  16. ok. since bill gates started giving his money away he's still been increasing his wealth, literally can't give it away fast enough. when someone actually does give away all thier billions down to a single digit billionaire, i will be impressed. and also whats he taking so long for? every second that money is sitting in his pocket is denying someone that needs help now. give it away if your going to do it also i bet you could be a hypocrit, i bet there is some people you don't forgive as well. stop making me the bad guy here, im just pointing out the fact that being even a single digit billionaire is still being greedy, and it is.
