ooooh, spicy! moneypuck.com has some spicy predictions..
Flames is the second likeliest to win the cup, behind the Canes! then oilers, then the bruins???? must be some western Canadian running the site..
-
really hope Chicago loses vs Anaheim and their next game vs Arizona in OT of course...
San Jose beats Florida
and the Canucks lose to both New York teams
and Anaheim beats Pitts....
That would make the standings very close for 26th to 30th
the injuries of the bottom feeding teams are either pretty healthy or royally pooched.... Nucks, Mtl and Columbus are beat up... and should continue losing, but anaheim, San Jose Arizona , and Chicago could surprise and win a few games... Our tank likely depends on when and what demkoe we get when he returns...
-
if bedard ends up in arizona, god help us.
-
their is no shame on the other bottom feeding teams, their ability to throw winning games is very impressive. Arizona also secretly gave a AHL goalie a 3 year 2.7m contract and made them their starter.
-
I dont know who is having a better season, Mcdavid or Karlsson. both lead their respective peers in goals and assists.
Mcdavid leads the next best forward by 22% . Karlsson leads the next best Defenceman by 16%
it would be nice to have these 2 players play together on the same team just to see how much points they could rack up just to see if they could even come close to to Mario, Gretz and Coffey. My guess is if you switched Barrie with Karlsson. Mcdavid, Drai, and Karlsson would get 20 more points.

You might get your wish. Edmonton desperately needs an upgrade on the right side D. Cody Ceci is good, but not first pairing good. How that trade gets pulled off is another matter.
Karlsson has helped his team in a huge way - he has immense trade value now. If San Jose can offload and get the three 1st round picks they're asking for, that rebuild will look great.

what has changed in horvat's game that he has gone from a 20 goal scorer to on pace with a 60G season?
-
Remember when people thought Jason Dickinson and tyler motte was devolping into really good players? Jason has 3 points in his last 25 games and 0 points in his last 17 games.
Motte has 2 points in his last 24 games and of course is injured.
-
Predicting our future outcomes
Next 2 weeks: 4- 6 points. still in 26th place.
the rest of the season: finish 23rd - 28th
-
Alex Ovechkin is on pace to smash 2 goal records this year. The most ENG in one season (CHB Ovechkin @9)and the most ENG of all time (CHB Gretzky @56). With an amazing 24.6 ENG/60 where he ranks 3rd All time, Only Sebastien Aho and Kyle Connor have better ENG/60. These Records will stand for a long time, I believe only Sebastien Aho or maybe Connor McDavid will have a shot at breaking these records. Ovechkin IMO is already the GOAT of ENG

Not really sure why AV. was banned. Looking at his past few posts I did not see anything ban worthy.

I don't know how we can do it, but trading pearson for wennberg would be a huge step in improving this teams pk. honestly would consider swapping boeser for wennberg.

Crazy Night, Some arsonist set 2 fires in my buildings hallways. I was the first to react, and had to put them out. At least no body got hurt and only small fire damage to carpets and ceilings. My lungs hurt from the smoke and fire extinguisher dust.

@Petey_BOI Whoever threatened the girl is pretty dumb though. I hope the girl gets some help away from what is probably a toxic relationship. What a crazy morning you've had though.
-
anyone trading for Erik johnson to make the final push for playoffs?
@NewbieCanuckFan you seem to be in the know.
-
if you google bedard, bedardtankers.com shows up #2. they must be loving the free advertising.
-
The canucks are undefeated every day we make a trade so far this season. I think we all know what this means.
-
If the canucks finished 8th i'd be super stoked, if the canucks finished 9th I'd be pretty choked.
If the canucks finished last, i'd be having a blast. If the canucks finished first? JK LOLOL LMAO

I think the #2 pick will be in Matvei Michkov. as long as he recovers well from injury. He has committed himself to the KHL until 2026 makes him a plus to bottom feeder teams. He is a tank pick, because he wont have the chance to improve the team until his D+3 year. A bottom feeder team could have 3 top 5 picks enter the league within 2 years which could really allow for you to gun for it in 4-5 years time

I'd say we are one loss away from complete CDC meltdown. countless tank for bedard threads, fire coach, fire GM, fire everybody threads

we need to free up cap space, urgently. poolman, dickinson garland, myers are who im looking at. i think the dream would be to trade dickinson and poolman and bring in a 4 million dollar RD to replace poolman and kuzmenko to replace dickinson. i like the idea of holding onto miller and trading him at the deadline 50% retained if need be.
-
I doubt they want to play a complete season with the distraction of a unsigned Miller and that something will happen very soon in either he is re-signed or traded (I think he is traded to help us in weaker areas and the future)
If they not wanting to include draft picks to unload some of the others, then you have to retain cap while still signing a replacement or include a decent player (It is a tangled web to unweave)
