  1. Ha, sorry I was just messing around a bit. He hasn't said it literally but he's never even come out with a half-assed statement saying he'd like to win a Cup here, he believes in the team, or any scrap at all committing to the Canucks in the future. Also add to that he never asked to be traded here in the first place and he's in a position to write his own ticket. Factor in that he's spent the majority of his time here suffering through crappy Covid seasons and the team is in a state or retooling. As an American who will probably be a star in the next Olympics I don't see anything whatsoever suggesting he's going to sign a retirement contract to play out his career in Canada. It would be a massive mistake not to trade him if the rumors of teams chasing him are true. I just don't see evidence or logic leading him to stay here. Unless he tells management he's dying to stay here and will sign long-term for x amount, and even that comes with risk.
  2. Yep it's almost like they feel vindicated that while everyone else is compromised and struggling they are doing fine so haha screw you. They could fix things and make everyone happy and whole but then they wouldn't feel special themselves.
  3. This is truly the sad part. We had a chance as human beings to truly band together for once and demonstrate love and compassion for each other and do something truly amazing. But 10% of the people had to ruin it for everyone. It's extremely disappointing.
  4. Exactly. How does it not occur to people like this that they literally have no clue when they are schooled so bad on everything they type? How can it not set in? You would think at this point they would resolve themselves to paying attention to educated people and actually try to learn something useful. And foolishly donating money to these clowns is just the topper. Thank God people like this have absolutely zero decision making capability. Simply Crazy.
  5. Lol so 38,262,729 / 5000 = .00013 % of Canadians. Haha, massive protest. That's why these people are hard to listen to. They literally have no clue what they're talking about nor the critical thinking skills necessary to see the big picture.
  6. I think it's about time we change our policies and give these people fair warning to do the right thing or suffer the consequences. It's one thing to over eat or smoke cigarettes as a personal lifestyle choice but it's another thing entirely to turn a blind eye on spreading deadly diseases to others through negligence. Treat them if possible, and make them pay out of their pocket, but if there is lack of resources they are dead last in line.
  7. This a protest of losers that will accomplish nothing and be forgotten tomorrow, except for maybe how stupid Theo Fleury is. Their viewpoint lol.
  8. I'd be hopeful there is some loosening of that position. If they're the ones calling at the deadline hopefully they're willing to pay the heightened price. Obviously his contract right now is a huge bonus as is the fact he's not dealing with a career threatening injury. Having the season turning out so well is also a reason to further consider moving one of these guys. Hopefully lol! Thanks for the link.
  9. @mods @-DLC- @-SN- Why does this thread exist? Is this not redundant and silly? There are threads already created right on the top of the page.
  10. This may all have some truth to it but it's just conjecture with a lot of supposition. Gallant may like Schnieder a lot but that doesn't mean he's going to quit if he's traded or that Miller isn't exactly what he wants for the playoffs either. He's also not the GM. The following article indicates the major sticking points were Laf or Kakko and the $10 in salary. Do you have any links were they said Schnieder is off the table? Also in the article it speaks about the need to address the center position by the end of the year. https://www.lohud.com/story/sports/nhl/rangers/2021/11/04/jack-eichel-trade-ny-rangers-vegas-golden-knights/6281431001/
  11. The reality is 10% of the country are impatient, childish, aholes. We shouldn't listen to or cater to these idiots ever. These people are scumbags and should be prosecuted or go live in some other country where they don't have be a part of anything, or follow any rules but their own.
  12. Holy talk about Denseberg. Children these days ... what can you do?
  13. I'm a real big fan of Addison. The guy has a great understanding of the game and absolutely terrific offensive instincts. A little on the small side but I'd be awfully enticed by a deal with him in it. Fiala is a bit of a prick but he's pretty good. Ha, sorry I was just messing around a bit. He hasn't said it literally but he's never even come out with a half-assed statement saying he'd like to win a Cup here, he believes in the team, or any scrap at all committing to the Canucks in the future. 14. Miller has all but said trade me to a contender while you can. We have nothing against Vancouver but my family and I are out of here as soon as possible. He's as good as gone. We're just waiting for the best deal. Lol sorry to break it to you but you'll be thanking me in 3 years.
  15. I don't even really care. I was sick of him with his 2 team/3 team demands before he even got here. Then there was the stupid not showing up for camp, now this. We should have terminated the contract when we had a chance. Playing NHL hockey requires large sacrifices resulting in huge rewards. It shouldn't damage the team bending over backwards to accommodate you. The guy has made tons of money in his career. Go take care of your family and stop screwing over the team already.
  16. Those homers are so clueless in Flamingo land. I've been watching them turn out these articles all year. Probably about 10 and they're always trying to trade Dermitt and Holl. Haaa haaa. As if.
  17. Couldn't agree more. Another trash post from a garbage poster(troll).
  18. Yeah that was brutal. He's super good at staying out for 3 minute shifts but he can't hustle off the ice in OT after his own poor play loads to a giveaway. Like the player but that's absolutely pathetic.

  20. To me it doesn't matter if you're heads and tails above your draft class. For you they might have to putting up 80 points out of the gates but I would have no problem if he only does that once traded to Vancouver. The thing is if he's putting up 40-50 points right now we're not getting him for Miller. It's the concept of buying low on an unproven but prestigious prospect. To me it's not a big risk at all as I think he'll easily be a perennial 50-60 point guy, probably more. Kakko was also a second but again you have to look at the big picture.
  21. He's only 20. Remember Petterson also played a year of pro before coming to the NHL. Most players develop at different rates. Lafreniere probably could have used a year in the AHL. He's playing on the first line right now according to: https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/new-york-rangers/line-combinations/ However, Kakko, Chytil, and Blais are out right now. Add Kreider, Panarin, and Goodrow on the wings. That's super deep! Surely you can appreciate how his role is limited at times. Of course his progression is lesser at this stage than Petterson.
