  1. Yeah that's my thinking as well. We'll see where we settle in. I believe we're playing at .725 under Bruce if we add in the last 2. It's on the high side but .625 would be good for 13th overall. I think we can do it. Will that be enough? Maybe not considering how far back we are but around there or a little higher could get it done.
  2. Oh okay. I agree we're looking better and the last two games we still played well. My commentary was based on the notion we are a middle of the pack team and not quite at either level we've seen. I mean I don't think we're Green bad but I don't think we're at the bump level either. Or do you think we're a .875 (pre road) or even .750 team moving forward?
  3. Of course you had to make this about Green again. Whatever, I've moved on I stand by what I said. The team is not perfect but Green was not the only problem, although I clearly stated the team looks better under BB. Explaining how much Green sucks doesn't make the team any better imo. lol He's been gone for awhile now. We're decent and playing better but we're still several players short of being a legitimate threat, and the good players we do have need to mature. I'm not going to go back in time and wring my hands over games we should have won we just need to win more games in the future. By the way the Sabres, Red Wings, and Blackhawks have beaten the Lightning, Predators, Penguins, Capitals, Knights, Blue Jackets, Ducks, Oilers, Jets, Wild, Blues, Bruins, Devils, and Sharks.
  4. Unfortunately I think Inattcc is pretty correct on this. Sure, Green had the team underperforming and we're much better than the record we complied but a coach can only do so much, the rest lies on the quality of players. We definitely look better and more involved with BB but in reality we are a 7/8 team who doesn't know how to win consistently yet. We make far too many mistakes which is what separates the good teams from the mediocre ones. They had a very good chance to win yesterday but a horrible penalty from Pods gifted them the huge opening goal. Then we did what we always seem to do, not get out of the period and we gifted them a second goal with 20 seconds left. Our teams game management is absolutely atrocious. BB alluded to this as a key to winning the game. Then to really blow the game Hughes made an incredibly stupid play to try at all costs to keep the puck in, He got owned and gave TB a 2-0 breakaway goal for the win. In order to stop losing like this the players need to mature, and that takes time. A coach can definitely help in this regard but a lot of that is up to the players. At the end of the day I feel we're right where we should be so I don't get all down after losing 2 games to the #1 and #2 team in the league. There were some great things to build off that keeps me hopeful this team can improve during the year and still challenge for a playoff spot. We actually outplayed TB in general terms. I think a lot of fans desperately tried pinning everything (and more) on Green, maybe even believing we were a Cup contender with a better coach. Unfortunately not all of our faults were Green's doing so unfortunately it's not quite that easy. It's also a shame with all the talent we have no one is capable of taking charge and getting shots on the PP. Hughes, Miller, and Petterson, are particularly poor at this and Bo isn't much better. I'd like to get OEL back out there on PP1. This guy is a veteran pro and one of the only players who understands how to manage the game in 10 second intervals and take shots when the opportunity presents itself.
  5. It's almost like you've never watched hockey before. Congratulations on your first lesson. Middle of the league teams struggle with consistency. That's why they're in the middle of the pack and not the top of the league.
  6. Yep, hated how they passed over 4 wide open shots only to lose the puck again.
  7. You have to shake your head at some of these people who are so critical of the measures taken so far. It's kind of like they don't understand Covid -19 is kind of a big problem ... by that I mean an enormous problem ... one of the biggest man kind has ever faced. Yet they act as if the government is dropping the ball left, right, and center, like @psharpe07 would be doing a bang up job if in charge and this whole thing would be behind us. Like all the leaders in the field of medicine are idiots and they know more about vaccines then the people that created them. They act as if the whole world isn't throwing everything they have at this thing but they would easily solve this in a week just by just doing nothing. It's like they believe someone is doing this to them as a joke just so that they can't go out and play. Delusional and disconnected to reality actually. Stupefying.
  8. They guys are so desperate to prove vaccines are not valid and so impatient that safety and extra precaution go right out the window.
  9. I also can't stand idiots who won't listen to common sense and people who aren't team players. I'd rather not be anywhere near people like that if I can help it. It's just a personal preference.
  10. No thank all the scientists and administrators who bent over backwards to produce a life saving vaccine in record time, and the mothers for being smart enough to support humanity and get the vaccine(s).
  11. I love the idea of armbands. It's like if I go to a gathering and some ahole is there. Instead of staying and causing friction or getting into a fight I'll just leave. It would be great to know who these people are just so I can remove myself from their presence with no conflict and then they can go on their merry little way with no confrontation. They would never go for it though but it would make it simple for me.
  12. Sorry that was old an old post and I had formatting problems. I did fix it and reply to your post without the old joke if you want to re-read.
  13. Well yeah, it sure would make life easier. It's really not fair to those who sell meth or just like to get whacked out for a week or two, or simply think that face scabs are cool. We should have sympathy for these folks and show them love, everyone should be able to do whatever they want. /sarcasm
  14. This is the part that really gets me. I've been stubborn as heck and I've definitely done things my way my whole life. I sometimes butt heads with authority but there is a point where one must trust in each other (like people who have dedicated their entire lives to helping others) and the systems in place. When would these people ever decide to listen to anyone if not now? It's alright and necessary to question things but at this point arguing with doctors, government, and CDC is just anti-societal bs. If you can't even help out when humans as a lifeform are threatened that's going way to far. These people are reckless and currently a detriment to society. If they can't be human in a crisis like this when will they ever? I get pretty upset by stupidity mainly. It's my pet peeve so this site gets my blood boiling as well. I have been mad at the anti-vax crowd but I really don't want anyone to die as a result. I do appreciate you do have your 3 shots (thank you) and have been fairly civil in your posts. However like any human being there are responsibilities and consequences we all have to live with so I don't think those people need support at all for making wrong decisions, they need feedback to improve their decision making, or face the consequences like any other serious decision. That's why they should be cut off from going in public places, flying, etc. I guess if we have to let them be dumb but let them do it at home where their poor decisions aren't crippling society. They certainly don't deserve to be rewarded or supported for their poor decisions. Do you support drunk drivers and tell them that it's ok, they're just making a different choice we all need to respect? Also we're at the point they've been told enough and forewarned enough maybe it's time to tell them that their health care won't be covered as a result. Give them fair warning. Sure we'll save your life after you purposely pissed it away but you're going to be $100,000, (or whatever) the price tag is in debt after.
  15. Yep, I have two friends like this. I can't even talk to the one guy because ... I hate to say it but he's absolutely dense. Both of them didn't pay attention in school and the dense guy is lazy as crap as well. The one guy would only get one shot originally but he explained he was simply mad the government was telling him what to do. He eventually got the 2nd because his job brought him into the hospitals, old folks homes and schools. In the same discussion he clearly proved he has no clue about the underlying science involved ... in grade 11 and 12 and while I was University he was out back getting high on weed and Ritalin while I was busy learning about and studying said matters. What's frustrating is that lots of these people figure a half hour spent googling "why I shouldn't take the vaccine", is a replacement for years and years of studying in a school setting. It is sad.
  16. The issue is reckless Reilly can't do whatever he wants without complying with safety regulations and he doesn't like following directions. He's unique and regular rules don't apply to him.
  17. You still can't unknowingly transport Covid into the country even though it's here already. You just sound annoyed at your inconvenience. "These reports you've handed in, it's like you have no business training at all. I don't even know what this is supposed to be"
  18. The best part is "Reckless" Reilly is giving us Covid advice. Calling Dr. Reckless ... Dr. Reckless to the OR. Ahaha sounds about right.
  19. These guys laugh and talk about numerous boosters like it's the end of the world or something in order to save lives. Have these no minds ever heard of diabetes? They have to take a needle every 8 hours for their entire lives ... and these goofs are complaining about teeny tiny lifesaving needle every 6 months for a total of 4/5. Like how stupid can people possibly be? And then they laugh about it as if they've proved a big point or something. They're mad they have to take medicine when and how often it's prescribed for it to work. Wow ... mind blowing. That's the level of stupid we're dealing with here folks.
  20. Holy crap man how do you not understand this? It's called being precautious. Like 100% sure you're not bringing deadly disease into the country. You should be mad at yourself for booking a flight during a pandemic and not expecting any delays or additional requirements.
  21. That's literally the perfect example of entitled, childish, and selfish.
  22. The difference is you're not making that mistake over and over again while those people that fixed you up are imploring you not to do it again. One of things also kill you and others as well. It's contagious. Maybe we should just treat them all like royalty and literally let them do whatever they want without no penalties whatsoever? I guess that's what the expectation is here. On the other hand people dying without beds and having surgeries delayed should just accept it as a microcosm of stupidity. Oh well I completely give up anyway. It is what it is. There is no other solution with these people. It would have been nice to see people make a stand by say driving without a valid license, or not pay their taxes ... but nope let's wait and revolt against the government in the middle of a pandemic where people are dying left and right. OK then ... carry on don't let the 90% of us weak minded people get in your way.
