They're a top team in the league. No reason not to go for it large contract or not. Most top teams have cap issues.

I look at Mukhmadullin and the 1st as the only real valuable pieces. The other pieces are fringe and it depends on the condition. It's probably East Conf Final or SCF anyway so 2 so so pieces. We got more for Bo!

This is very important in this situation. After not trading Miller, and after not trading for anything of real value since they took over this was a deal we couldn't afford to screw up. Stawns says we needed to be risky but I argue the exact opposite. In no way could we afford to blow it. In that sense the deal was perfect. We wouldn't have done much better if at all and it could have gone horribly worse and completely screwed us.

Maybe they just wanted everyone else to burn all their assets up.

It's possible they are ready sooner. Both playing against men, Reinbacher more so. Either way they're needed in the system one way or another whether it takes a little while longer or not.

This is true but when they negotiate these clauses it also assumes they're not going to show up like a lazy, fat, slob like Tryamkin did either.

We're most likely not getting Fantilli but it's nice to dream. Smith, Benson, Moore or Dvorsky maybe in a couple years, same with Klimovich, he's a year away at the least. We'll probably have something like Mikeyhev Miller Garland or Podkolzin Miller Garland and Mik goes to line 1. or most likely a cheap stopgap UFA. This is my 2 cents

That's kind of a cool idea. Whoa, talk about kickstarting the defence rebuild. Two different types of defenders too. I think the way we're set up we could really use a slick playmaker on the RD to keep up with Petey, Kuz, and the rest of the offence. I'm with you on the forward too. Either way it will be really exciting. Hopefully the Isles keep eking out some wins as the games played will probably start catching up with them.

Maybe is we played Silovs right from the start it would have been different. Kid is playing awesome!
