  1. Being classy is individual, for instance, you don't do such acts because its not the right thing to do and I agree. If only the entire world shared this same sentiment then there wouldn't be gutless crooks on the planet however, that's not the case. No matter where you go, in whichever country or city, there will always be complete grown up morons who act like spoiled babies. Kind of like how some people vent their frustrations over small things over the phone on a customer service line for a product they are dissatisfied with. One could also say however, that is their right to voice their displeasure because they're the ones who paid for the product. Why should you sit down and be quiet for something you're frustrated with? I'm not for throwing jerseys on the ice. Actually, the fact that its happened multiple times this season now is frankly despicable imo, but you can't control how another person reacts in the moment to displeasure. Says more about them as a person and honestly not in a good way for sure. But you don't have the right to threaten someone over what they decide to do with what they bought.
  2. they paid for the expensive jersey. they paid for the expensive tickets. i thought we live in a democracy. what gives you the right?
  3. its just pathetic at this point. the dude keeps bringing up an event from 20 years ago in 03' saying that the team had the flu bug which is what made them lose to the Wild, which was then brought up and confirmed later on. ok lol. that literally proves my point. in result, the team ultimately confirmed it and that's all i'm saying is that there is no confirmation as of right now by the team/coach that anyone other than the two players (Petey and Brock) are suffering from it. Which is literally why they need time off and aren't playing right now. i never said it was impossible that other members might be suffering from illness too, and even gave him the benefit of the doubt that it's possible but it's not a certainty at this point. If boudreau comes out later today or tomorrow and says it then yeah, sure i'll believe it and of course it could be one of the reasons for their awful play. i'm not going to guess anything or believe that until it is said and confirmed by the actual team or coach, not some random on a canucks fan message board purely making assumptions.... and this person is telling me that i'm the one speculating? lmao. i swear, the low iq and the fact that so many people can't stand the thought of being wrong even if they're being irrational on this message board makes me speechless honestly. it's actually quite laughable.
  4. just letting you know since you're the one playing this guessing/speculation game thinking that this team must be plagued by the flu because Petey and Brock have it. honestly, in the end it's all just pretty sad that you're clinging on to that, but you do you doctor canuck73_3.
  5. You know it's possible not to get the flu just because someone around you has it too right? I've worked in office spaces, lived in close quarters with family members, and went to school with classmates that have had the flu before and have been able to avoid it. It can be contagious but you're not doomed to it like some plague if you take the right precautions.. Which is probably one of thew reasons why EP and BB aren't playing. I'm not saying they don't have it for sure... but I'm also not gonna say that they do have it because the team hasn't said/confirmed anything other than about Petey and BB, and we've had more than enough reasons this season to believe their p*ss poor play doesn't just relate to maybe having an "illness" or "feeling under the weather".
  6. It's literally been confirmed by the team that only those two players as of now are sick not playing as a result, how is that speculation? If the team/coach actually comes out with a statement that more players are actually sick, that's what confirmation is. I don't know what you don't understand about that.
  7. ok? well, as of now, today, two players are confirmed to have the flu. what you're saying can be true of course if more players are actually suffering from it. you can try to justify it all you want, but you're speculating at this point.
  8. if you're playing a game of assumptions when its not been confirmed that others have the flu other than for Petey and Boeser, then it's a poor excuse. if multiple players indeed do have the flu bug plaguing them that's been confirmed, and its to the extent that you have to run to the bathroom to puke (like you mentioned), i could see it being fair of course because players would literally not be able to play. However, this is all just speculation other than the confirmed cases.
  9. could be. still quite a poor excuse to lose 5-1 on back to back games.
  10. ahh the same mysterious flu that fatefully plagued the french team out of winning the world cup.
  11. you know its bad when your captain says "im running out of things to say here" he's pretty much saying, "get me the **** out of here. I'm done."
  12. Meanwhile PA and JR probably looking dumbfounded sitting on their bums and doing absolutely nada as usual. we thought benning's communication was bad. at least he was honest when he made that dumb statement of "taking things day by day". These guys are just frauds.
  13. Bruce Boudreau has literally said multiple times this season that we have a problem with our special teams and defence. So yeah, I think they are aware. You can't really do much if the players are as gutless as these guys and you don't have any good pieces to replace them (ahem.. management).
  14. i think our coaching staff is well aware of that. how about management instead? since they do soooo much
  15. "tis the season to be jolly" in order to do that, i'm not watching canucks games
  16. The best ever world cup final. The greatest ever player winning his world cup. Always great to witness historic sports moments like these.
  17. francesco runs this team like a cult. anyone that goes against the status quo and dares mention a rebuild is booted out. saw it happen to gillis. saw it happen to trevor linden.
  18. Seemed like a recreational project probably from his POV. "hey, i've always wanted to work for a canadian team before, why not?" What more does he have to prove? It was Francesco who went on his knees and begged him literally going to his home to convince him to join.
  19. For how much JR was being praised early on by the media for being a guy with vision and a progressive mind as an exec, you could tell that was false when he brought in his top crony to be his puppet. I think lots of fans were skeptical the the PA hiring. Turns out they're probably right. These dingus bats like to talk a lot about what they need to/should do, but do absolute zilch.
  20. this is what you get when you replace an incompetent management group with an incompetent management group
