Regardless to what anyone else says, I still think the 5 day rest for the Knights benefitted them greatly in the first game. VGK play a completely different style from both the Blues and Wild so the team just needs to adjust their gameplan. Hopefully the guys learned what they need to do better for tomorrow! Im expecting a bounce back performance from our team Go Canucks!

[speculation] Domi on the move?
PetterssonOrPeterson replied to qwijibo's topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
I'd be all over Domi for Virtanen (even though Virt probably wouldn't be enough to snag him). He's got some bite to his game and he can actually fight. Reuniting him with Bo might give him a spark. I think Domi and Bo could recreate some of that magic from junior. Not to mention they're best friends. Just my wishful thinking though. -
What a display from Vegas. I hope the Canucks win the next one, but man I cannot find any flaws on this Knights team. Speed, size, skill, depth. They’re like the fully evolved version of what the Canucks team is trying to be. It is great experience but I fully expect Vegas to win the series. I hope I’m wrong.

I will never understand Canucks fans and their love of these Team Germany jerseys as if its some sacred jersey. Part of the reason the rest of the league ridicules the Canucks and their horrible taste in jerseys. It's not like they even won with them back in 94. To each their own I guess. The blue and green I think is a perfect representation of the pacific northwest and the vibrant beauty of this city. The black jerseys look gross, and that plate of pasta for the logo is the tipping point for its ugliness.

Typical overreactions. Leave it to CDC to blame the refs and think the entire league is for some reason conspiring against them to lose. No, its really just because this team wasn’t good enough to see it all the way through for the past 50 years. Secondly, this isn’t surprising. The Blues were first in the conference before the pause and defending cup champs. I would be more surprised if we actually went up 3-0. Sooner or later, they were due to win a game. More impressively, the Blues are a high-cailbre team and yet we’re right there with them only losing by a goal. What’s with the shock? We’re still leading 2-1.

I disagree. They forced the play but didn’t get enough grade A chances on the inside. Looked boxed out the entire game. Not to mention the bad performances from a lot of the top 6. They looked sloppy and unmotivated as the game went on. In fairness, the Wild’s offence was brutal, but defensively they outclassed us. Like you said though, on to the next one.
