Well it's certainly worked for them so far. Big difference between the demeanour of our team compared to the elite. Keeping their spirits up sure but you can't kill a penalty to save your life and it's down right embarrassing, it just feels like some fans don't get it. It's been part of the problem. Why does everyone seem so happy? It's yet again a horrible start and everyone just seems like they don't take things serious. Country club atmosphere seems right. It's what angers fans more, they are laughing and joking on the bench and every interview they looked so relaxed.

I was just looking at the standings today and I realized there is a big reason ownership/management isn't going to do anything. We are still too close in terms of points. Edmonton has 18 points with one more game played and we sit at 11. They have this terrible idea man we are so close if we get on a hot streak we are right back in it. Ignoring all the signs they are a terrible hockey club. It's what's put this franchise behind the eight ball time and time again. They basically have to be so far behind in points to call the season but man the way they play is awful. The players we have are hard to get behind because they just don't play like they care. I was disappointed to see us so close in points still because I realized it's giving them a false sense of hope. Biggest problem I have is that Rutherford said the standards had to be higher starting at the top and it's been anything but. The players get away with so many losing habits and poor me attitude and still haven't been made accountable.

The fact he was hoping he was getting the 5+ years ago OEL without looking at his salary cap hit and seeing the danger tells you how incompetent and desperate he was.

If you trade Bo you get a lot and you likely still deal those others as well. Have to restock the cupboards.

No one wants those players. They see what we are seeing so I don't know why you would think we would get much for them. They aren't attractive to gms because their play has been so inconsistent.

Why should they sign Bo? It will do nothing to change the team and what this team needs is drastic changes. They aren't winning by keeping him. They haven't won with him.
