  1. Some of the laws the governor has laid down are that it is illegal to sell house paint, it is illegal to go on a boat (unless a canoe), no gathering with anyone that is not in your household. I support the protesters. https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/15/politics/gretchen-whitmer-operation-gridlock/index.html
  2. This would mean 160,000 dead. Leaked US Homeland Security modelling suggests the coronavirus death rate could end up at 0.12 per cent – but with 160 million infections. https://int.nyt.com/data/documenthelper/6874-fema-coronavirus-projections/1e16b74eea9e302d8825/optimized/full.pdf
  3. There was no azithromycin or zinc used in the study. I don't think anyone is pushing HCQ as a stand alone treatment.
  4. Yeah i could see that but this is for the deaths soooo.....
  5. Their reporting is quite lumpy, 17,12,20 then 114 dead on the graph in 4 days. The world chart out front with the rest of the countries has them at 170 instead of 114 today. I dont get it. (world meter)
  6. I gave half a dozen links. This is an interview with a highly regarded physician. I was listening to him. Your point is that was on Fox News?
  7. I've only read your china science article so far, because it's recent. Here is an excerpt below. The part you liked was inconclusive and only included people on oxygen. The common drug for these more advanced cases is usually remdesivir anyway, I think, so that study is not of much interest. I thought you'd only like double blind studies? Why are you mentioning a fox and friends? I don't reference or watch that. Zhong Nanshan , a senior Chinese government scientist in Guangzhou, told local media that his team would soon publish a paper with positive results for chloroquine phosphate, another derivative drug in the chloroquine family. “The average time [with chloroquine phosphate treatment] for the virus to turn negative is four days, and the control group [without the treatment] is eight or nine days. This improvement of symptoms is very certain,” Zhong told state television on Tuesday. “It can be a very effective cure.”
  8. lol. True. But the text defaulted there so I went with it (and I was yelling at researchers). I do appreciate your tone.
  9. Elon Musk didn't discover Hcq. It's been in use for covid for months. Still no study complete by illustrious scientific researchers. It takes 10 days! Pathetic , inept, disgusting. Luckily there are many health professionals who are able to ethically study the treatment without leaving half their patients at risk in a blind study for "science". Many drugs are used "off label" and many drugs in use now have never been proven in a double blind study where people can die for science. If you have a question just ask. The guy in charge says the doctors are using it, the doctors say their using it, the patients say they're getting it, stocks are running low, countries are hoarding their suppIies, I don't know what to tell you. https://www.redstate.com/elizabeth-vaughn/2020/03/23/804620/ India adopts use of Hydroxychloroquine for prevention of COVID19 in Health workers Hydroxy-chloroquine has been recommended as the use for preventive treatment of healthcare workers and individuals in close contact of coronavirus patients. https://ca.news.yahoo.com/ingrahams-medicine-cabinet-effectiveness-hydroxychloroquine-032642054.html https://nypost.com/2020/04/02/hydroxychloroquine-most-effective-coronavirus-treatment-poll/ https://townhall.com/columnists/kevinmccullough/2020/03/29/hydroxychloroquine-help-is-on-the-way-n2565926 Doctors began prescribing off-label use and in doing so are replicating the clinical results in remarkable fashion. One doctor in Monroe, New York has treated in excess of 700 patients. As of this writing he’s lost zero patients to death, zero to intubation, and only two to hospitalization. Another doctor in New York City has treated in excess of 100 patients with zero deaths. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-8148463/US-doctors-hoarding-drugs-tested-treating-coronavirus.html If nothing else get your double blind study done you useless researchers.
  10. I wasn't trying to make a reference to the French study but here it is with the full article below. I compare this to the expected 3.5% death rate from, was it the WHO? This was administered to severe and moderate cases. “A good clinical outcome and virological cure was obtained in 973 (out of 1061) patients within 10 days (91.7%)…A poor outcome was observed for 46 patients (4.3 %); 10 were transferred to intensive care units, 5 patients died (0.47%) (74-95 years old) and 31 required 10 days of hospitalization or more…The HCQ-AZ combination, when started immediately after diagnosis, is a safe and efficient treatment for COVID-19, with a mortality rate of 0.5%, in elderly patients. It avoids worsening and clears virus persistence and contagiosity in most cases.” https://www.collective-evolution.com/2020/04/14/professor-didier-raoult-publishes-results-of-a-hydroxychloroquine-treatment-study-on-1061-patients/
  11. Thanks. The forecasts were made weeks ago so tough to find. But I will look. Why not just take my word for it? Cuomo was saying if New Yorkers abide by his shut down rules they will need a minimum of 50000 beds and maybe 110000. That's why they brought in the ship, found field house to convert into hospitals etc. I think I heard him try and get away with saying the numbers were so low because of his policies lol, but he hasn't repeated it, because he knows he'll get called on it. Giving credit to the wide usage of the malaria drug is my own deduction so far, others just use bad forecasting as the excuse.

  13. Sure. I will look it up. The french study of 1060 had less than a .5% death rate with all victims over 75, and it is one of many studies out there. Not looking up the second one of course. It's my observation.
  14. Talk about dangerous advice. Last I heard virtually every Covid patient in New York is given the hydroxy treatment immediately and medical staff use it commonly as a prophylactic. Pretty obvious this is why hospitalizations are way down below the minimum predictions (15000 instead of 50000 to 100000). My only hope is that when Covid takes me down I can take hydroxy without having to take a 50 / 50 shot in a blind study. I wonder how hard it is for a Canadian to get it?
  15. I guess nothing is impossible. In New York so far 26 of the 6200 deaths were people under 45 with no underlying condition (this would not include morbid obesity which is a big risk factor). No one under 17 has died. Is there a place where young healthy people are shown to be at risk? https://gothamist.com/news/coronavirus-statistics-tracking-epidemic-new-york
