Finally, was looking for someone to give a good slagging...
-
Hopefully we will all be able to return as fans, sooner rather than later
-
Players who haven't won that you would like to see win.

Here is the broadcast schedule for the upcoming world juniors. First Christmas day start since 2005 https://www.tsn.ca/2021-iihf-wjc-broadcast-schedule-1.1221193

Contract spots aren't a concern at the moment, we are at 35/50
-
I believe I said this in another post, but during this time it would be cool to have the AHL team travel with the NHL team and play NHL opponents AHL team. This way they still get to play, also get the added benefit of training with the big club. Makes call ups easy
-
Burying him clears up 1,050,000. That could be filled by anyone under that amount and save us money. Loui has had multiple chances, he even skated with the Twin's and Petey for a few games. Been on Bo's wing more than others and cannot get going. Not sure any team or player would say that Vancouver didn't give him a chance. But if that's how some players feel, those are the players we don't want. We want the character guys that believe you earn a spot by your play, not granted one because of your pay cheque
-
I'm sure this guy will have a line up of teams competing for his signature, but if Canucks could somehow get him on the cheap it would be great

Right, forgot about the 3 way trade, thanks -

What am I missing? Why is Colorado laughing, Turris was drafted By Arizona, traded to Ottawa then to Nashville. Where does Colorado come into this -
CDC at its finest. If you jump over to another prospect you'll probably find some Hoglander talk lol
-
As much as I would be on board to trade for OEL (if the price was right) I think waiting for the RFA qualifying period to end and see who gets left unqualified would be better. Lots of teams at the cap with unsigned RFA's, good unsigned RFA's
-
Don't forget they are trading with Vegas for Fleury. Probably just planning on icing a roster with 2 skaters are 18 Goalies, cant lose that way
-
They want to hold a Goalie monopoly
-
It would be nice if he could, but players in the system and his skating will hold him back.
-
Phil the thrill is in the deal too
-
Rathbone is the only other option, at this point loosing either would suck, but neither are any where near proven and OEL sure is
-
OEL 1.25 Mil retained for JV, OJ, Eriksson and 2021 1st (lottery protected). Would you do it?

[Discussion] Slava Voynov (Discussion)
CR7 replied to Toews's topic in Proposals and Armchair GM'ing
Jim "I had a good talk with Slava's reps today, they assured me Slava was only trying to build character in his wife so it really doesn't count as abuse. Why do you think he pled no contest"... I kid I kid, I wouldn't want this POS on any team in this league -
Logistically I have no idea how they would work it, but why not have the AHL and parent team travel together, train out of the same facility ect. AHL teams could play earlier in the day and the NHL teams later
-
You think Marky will stay if he gets term and dollars he is happy with, knowing he could be moving to Seattle in a year? Maybe that works for him, or maybe he wants security being 30 this could be his last contract, signs for 6 @ 6 somewhere with a NMC... Will definitely be an interesting off season
-
I said defensive acumen, not a shutdown D, I'm not sure I have ever pretended this guy is that. It's not about adding, it's about solving an issue... If Marky walks, we make this trade to have a back up, no more or less cap space used... We keep Eriksson and Marky walks we pay money to bring in someone to fill the void, cost more cap dollars... Doing this trade we still have our 12+ million in cap space to work with to sign those free agents.
-
Yes priority, but without a NMC. Is Marky ok with that, is he ok with being a back up? Bennings last interview he said Demko will be a starter in the next 2 seasons. Marky may just walk for security as it sounds like Benning is setting him up to be unprotected during the draft
-
Besides the 7 million in actual cash saving, Eriksson brings more experience to the bottom of their lineup. Brings defensive acumen and save the kids from those hard minutes they may not be ready for
-
Eriksson to NJ for Schneider. Schneider has not had a good time in NJ and I'm sure they would like to more on... This would rid us for Eriksson without costing us. Would give us a good back up option to run with Demko and free up money for our other UFA's/RFA's. With a little over 12 Million we could re-up Tanev and possibly ink Toffoli. Thoughts?
