I'm a nurse.

Be creative, find a way to involve student nurses that are near completion of the program. Maybe instead of firing experienced nurses who were in the front lines last year when there was no vaccine available, find a way for them to stay on (daily testing, proper PPE) etc

It breaks my heart to see Canada become devided because of our corrupt leadership. I work for VCH and it's sad to see experienced nurses let go because they did not want to take a therapeutic with no long term data. Our ICU's are overrun not because of COVID but because beds are closed due to the shortage of nurses. If only our PM would have invested the 1 billion dollars in health care instead of vaccine passports that do nothing to prevent transmission of COVID, maybe nurses wouldn't be burnt out.
