I am quite truthfully confused by so much negativity and all of the Fire Green, Fire Benning etc talk after this game. What I see is a team progressing (albeit slowly) towards a much stronger overall game. This is a team with many new faces and has had to deal with some early injuries, missing key pieces for other reasons early in the season and a fairly brutal 6 game road trip to start the season. I am starting to see a team coming together and play the way we expect. Are there issues with the PK? Yes..are there other frustrating aspects to our game and results...100% yes. But to choose todays game to complain means you either did not watch the game or are too consumed with twitter or Reddit etc. We played great, deserved to win, didn't happen.
Other "great" teams are having slow starts, with not nearly the same roster turnover - see Vegas, Islanders, Colorado
I choose to believe in this team and their potential, and will let my eyes dictate my enthusiasm and hope, not social media or bias.
Go Canucks!
