Very original, 12/10 chirp. I’m all for physical hockey, especially in the playoffs, but I just don’t get how you can see the result of that hit and say that it’s clean. Refs agreed, hnic panel agrees, most of the hockey world would agree. The only people that think it’s clean are beer league has-beens and Sean Avery lol.

The problem is that it wasn’t 25% slower. It’s a charge that resulted in a pretty brutal injury, he doesn’t need to run his shoulder through the guy. Is Evans not supposed to try to score there? There’s honestly no way to defend yourself when someone comes in that hot. I get what you’re saying, but I just think Scheiffele could just pull up a bit there.

[GDT] NHL Draft Lottery, June 2nd @ 4 pm on Sportsnet

I mean, yeah. Do you think it’s right the Edmonton won it 6 times in 10 years (may need to be corrected here)? Buffalo now twice, Jersey twice. Just seems broken to me. I don’t think teams should be overly rewarded for being perpetually terrible. Just my opinion though. -

It’s 100% a broken system. Shouldn’t be the same teams winning every year. -

As long as we end up with a playmaker or a dman I’ll be happy. Don’t think we need another shoot first player. I keep seeing McTavish being suggested here and I think that would be a mistake. -

I’m hoping to see McTavish and Wallstedt get picked ahead of us. Would mean a more favorable player dropping to our spot. It’s too bad there isn’t a rhd other than Clarke that’s solidified in the top 10. We need it desperately. -

Taylor Hall curse is too real. When is the rule being implemented that a team can only win so many first overall picks? Sick of seeing the same teams get the first pick. -

Should have known not to get my hopes up lol. I’ll consider not dropping any spots a win. -

It’s not about bootlicking. It’s about giving credit where credit is due. It’s fair to be critical of JB’s mistakes, and we all can agree he has made them, but is it really that hard to just say good job and leave it at that? There’s a reason you’ve built a bit of a reputation as a whiny baby on this forum. Hope this helps. -
Based off what I’ve seen I would agree he looks like a Benning pick, great engine and highly skilled. I just don’t have a great depth of knowledge on this years draft compared to past years. I’m fairly confident the nucks will end up with a difference maker.

Do you think Lysell would be a good pick at 9? Justifiable? Or would you consider it a reach?

Seems like the twins are pretty determined to bring a cup to Vancouver. Curious if they could be successful as assistant coaches? They’ve got the smarts to put pucks in the net, and they’ve experienced the toughest defenses on a nightly basis. Not saying that’s the right call but I could see them being pretty strong in that role.
