I think he will play this year for jets but he just wont resign

Rangers would be crazy to get rid of him unless another team overpays. So alone you would probably have to pay the first and a third and even then they would be asking themselves why are we getting rid of him.

As for Miller, don't know about you but if someone put 8mil over 7 years to me I would stay as well. He could have seen the market but might not have got that money or term elsewhere. Horvat how can you begrudge a guy for wanting to get paid? If the team had signed him earlier then the money would have been less but they didn't. So just because he's the captain having a great year to that point he's supposed to leave money on the table to stay with a dysfunctional franchise. Please!!!!! As for Miller being a far better leader I will leave that one alone as it;s amusing

Too much sensitivity from you guys. He's excited to be in a building and in front of fans that are loud, cheering for the team and don't throw his jersey onto the ice. This team has been so badly run for the last 10 years along with the media and fan scrutiny who wouldn't want to leave? If it's a losing season next year there will be a 1k page post on what we can get for Pettersson because he will demand a trade.

Give a couple of years and you will also be saying why didn't we trade him for whatever we could get. Contract is too big too long

Bruce when he came to the Canucks just wanted to get back into the NHL. One and a half years with the Canucks and he never wants to watch another NHL game again

Have to wonder if he regrets signing the contract and this is his way of getting management to trade him. If so i'm on board the get JT the f**k out of town train.
