  1. Miller loves setting up goals for the other team with that patented no look behind the back pass. That's at least 10 this season.
  2. Jasek with a goal and an assist in Liiga today, now has 13 goals and 31 points in 42 games and is 10th in league scoring. He has been playing most of the season as the Pelicans top line center and he's a right shot. Kind of sounds like something we could use on our team, maybe.
  3. "Sign with whatever team he wants"?? You're assuming that every team in the league is going to be lining up to sign him if he decides to wait and walk in August, although he has definitively stated that his intention is to sign with Vancouver when his NCAA season is over. If he walks away there is no guarantee that a team, better than Vancouver offers him a contract. He could very well end up in a situation like Gaudreau when he walked away from Calgary. The only team that offered him anything even close to what he expected was Columbus, and how is that working out for him? He's on pace for his worst full season in 6 years, stuck on a team for 6 more years that has never been able to retain any star they've drafted and only made the playoffs 6 times in it's 23 year history, and only made the 2nd round twice. I have no worries that McDonough will sign here, as I already mentioned he has clearly stated that that is what he is going to do once his season in NCAA is over, just like Lockwood did. McDonough has already proven that he is a high character person. There is a reason that he has been a key part of the Huskies leadership group and worn a letter on his jersey the last two seasons, including the "C" this year, despite being one of 8 Seniors on the team this year.
  4. I really don't get what's s hard about this. Every time this player is put in a position to succeed, he succeeds. Look at the WJC: Liam Ohgren - 2 points, -3, given 1st and 2nd line opportunities Noah Ostlund - 4 points, even, given 1st and 2nd line opportunities Jonathan Lekkerimaki - 4 points, +3, given 2nd line once, rest spent 3rd or 4th or even 13th forward and a healthy scratch JL then returns to his team and is immediately punished with another game as the 13th forward. After said punishment, he is then sent down to J20 and is finally put in to a position to succeed on the top line and puts up 5 points in 2 games. Dominates. He then is returned to the main team and is subsequently punished again as the 13th forward. He manages to stay out longer for one shift and gets himself some ice-time with Ohgren and Kruger from the top line, manages 3 offensive zone puck recoveries and scores a goal on that shift. The way he is being treated by the his main club and even the National team is giving me major Podkolzin playing with SKA deja vu. They seem to, for whatever reason, love to set him, and him alone, up to fail.
  5. Things getting pretty heated on there lol. Don and Ryan making lots of good points but I don't really understand Rick trying to defend the lack of direction or Ownerships obvious involvement. And I also agree that doing this today was incredibly disrespectful to Gino, his family and his legacy with this team.
  6. Another assist for Kudryavstev in a 3-2 shootout win for Soo. Now 5th in scoring for OHL defencemen.
  7. Just going to throw this out there. Travis Green has a better career points percentage as a head coach than Rick Tocchet
  8. That's right, I forgot, they always take the player off the ice on a stretcher and shut the game down for an early intermission for every player that leaves the ice "fine"
  9. Kudryavstev with an assist on Soo's only goal.
  10. Lockhart with a goal and an assist in an 8-1 win for Peterborough
  11. Lukas with 2 assists for the Pelicans this morning, now up to 28 points and 13th overall in Liiga scoring.
  12. Appears though this is just a matter of the Ducks getting their ducks in a row (bad joke). Klingberg's modified NTC was a full NTC from the start of the season until the end of 2022, switched to a 10 team no trade list on Jan. 1st.
  13. If Klingberg has positive trade value (meaning not having to give up additional assets to move him) than Myers does as well.
  14. Not sure how much a player with 13 points, making $7 million (I know cap hit shrinks relevant to percentage of season completed) and is a -77 over the last 4 seasons is going to bring in a trade
  15. Uhh, how? Horvat threw the hit on the guy that dumped the puck. Miller is the guy standing at center watching the puck flutter over his head and then watching 2 TB players blow past him and in to the zone as he glides around like a lost blind.man
  16. And here is the rightful Captain and true leader JT Miller with yet another candidate for 'Laziest Backcheck Ever'
  17. That's what I said, and then was lectured by certain posters on this board about how draft position doesn't matter whatsoever and how draft position can be thrown out the window and completely disregarded as soon as the draft is over, another position I disagreed with. Go back to page 92 on this thread, its a comical read.
  18. 15 points and +11 in his last 17 games played. Sounds good right? Too bad I have it on good authority the "kid doesn't have it" On 11/22/2022 at 6:55 AM, @73 Percent said: Nylander - 32 in 37 Alex Nylander 28 in 65 Puljujarvi 28 in 39 Chytil 31 in 46 Klimovich 18 in 62 Girgensons 17 in 61 The kid doesn't have it man.
