I’d take those two in a heartbeat but that pp is going to take some time. -

Check out the Ducks. Maybe they’d be interested in Brown. -
I think the draws are reduced from 3 to 2 for this year and the other changes are for next year. The 2021 NHL Draft Lottery will be reduced from three drawings to two as part of changes announced Tuesday. The changes, approved by the NHL Board of Governors, will determine the order of the NHL Draft for the teams that do not qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Two other changes will begin with the 2022 NHL Draft Lottery: -- Teams will be restricted from moving up more than 10 spots if it wins one of the lottery draws. -- Teams cannot win the lottery more than twice in a five-year period. Wins in the lottery prior to 2022 will not be counted toward this total.

I started the season about 80/20 on Green and am down to 50/50. Brown has got to go as the pp has just not come through at so many crucial moments in games and has been the turning point for all the wrong reasons. It doesn’t seem like he has brought anything new in quite awhile. Baumgartner needs to go, no explanation required. Clark is an important keep. My question is who hired the assistants. Are they Greens choices? If so and Green wants to keep them then I agree with Jimmy McGill that it needs to be a housecleaning. How can I not question Green’s decision-making if he likes the job the two NB’s are doing?

My dream for this game.... As many kids & new guys play as possible in a hard fought 6-4 victory for the Flamers, last goal mt net. Kids play reall well but we get screwed by the refs. We can be happy with the play & complain at the same time. Happy ending dream: Gadj gets challenged by the ugly clown and beats the livin snot out of him.

Rankings for D OJ Sergachev Chycrun Macavoy Sportsnet 6. 10. 12. 11 HockeyProspect.com. 6. 8. 14. 13 MyNHLDraft.com. 6. 9. 13. 14 ABC. 8. 11. 17. 26 TheDraftAnalyst. 9. 12. 2. 31 TSN (NA skaters) 5. 8. 4. 6 The consensus seemed to be Juolevi, Sergachev, Chycrun, Macavoy pre-draft. As I said I liked Sergachev at the time but I certainly couldn’t say it was a bad pick at the time.

I don’t know what his ceiling was before or after his injury was or is but the draft went the way it did. I personally wanted to pick Sergachev myself but was ok with Juolevi 5th overall at the time so I can’t complain.

I’m not saying that Hunter never made that comment but this is the only thing I could find. He was commenting on the Knights that would be taken in the draft. Do you remember where you might have seen that as I’d be curious to see it? Olli Juolevi “The first month here, he was good but didn’t show like he did in the second half. When you come over from the bigger ice, you have to speed up your game. Once he did that, he was really good. You see him at world juniors and playoffs. He just kept getting better. In Pittsburgh, all they talked about was puck-moving defencemen making the outlet to keep the offence going. That’s what he did for us.”

I totally agree with you on the music and I don’t mean that in an old guy crapping on modern music kind of way. I was lucky to grow up in a time when some of the greatest bands were touring. Concerts were cheap because bands made decent money on their music and airplay. I’m sure lots of posters on here could tell stories of seeing some of the all-time great bands for next to nothing. Pirating music (with any kind of quality) wasn’t possible so bands were more fairly compensated so it was generally easier for successful bands to concentrate on quality rather than clicks, likes or views. Don’t get me wrong there are great bands now and it’s possible for anybody to get their own music out and heard and that’s fantastic. But bad music didn’t used to see the light of day nearly so easily as it does today. Like always, quantity sacrifices quality. -

Vintage just posted that Monahan is done for the season in Calgary and while there is nothing suspicious about that, I wonder if this will start a tank war with us. It will be interesting to see which players don’t dress for these last few games and if Travis is willing to play along. Tank war? Oh it’s on baby...! -

Bingo! The starter went out on one of our vehicles last week. I couldn’t even get at it so there was no way to to cross it with a screwdriver or knock it with a hammer. I had to have it towed to the repair shop for something that might have taken seconds to get going. I mean obviously cars are safer and less harmful to the environment now and that’s the way it should be. But I’m glad to have lived in a time when they were fun. -

Ah tas, may you never grow old. I wonder what you’ll look back on with satisfaction from your youth? I’ll let you in on a little secret - nothing about the era I grew up in embarrasses me. -
