  1. If that happens it would be much more of an indictment of Green’s coaching and indirectly of Benning for standing by TG for so long.
  2. Not really GDT but I saw that someone over on Reddit picked up this signed card at VV in Victoria. What a sweet find!!
  3. I happen to agree with you that he shouldn’t be traded, I just disagree that there is something blasphemous about discussing it. I seriously hope that there is no one on this team that JB would be unwilling to have a trade discussion about.
  4. I would assume that someone coming to this thread either wants to take a crack at answering Hippy’s question or wants to see what other people think a QH trade would get you. Not sure what makes some so unhappy with the discussion. These are probably the same people that get ticked every time two teams make a trade wondering why JB did nothing. I love the guy and have no interest in seeing him traded but if I’m JB and my phone rings with one of these offers I might not take it but I’m not hanging up either. Don’t know what NJ has that we might want but I would be curious what a reverse-Burkie trade could bring us.
  5. Totally agree with this. I have stood by Benning/Green long enough. If they don’t see (minimally) that the aspects of the game that the assistants are responsible for are failing miserably then they are part of the problem. If you don’t amputate a gangrenous toe everything else starts to stink.
  6. Maybe I’m just stubborn but I still have a hard time believing that this list of defencemen is as bad as what we’re seeing. My bigger concern by far is Baumgartner. Not that personal hockey skills are directly relatable to coaching but Baumer wouldn’t have beat out a single dman on this roster.
  7. Getting the bag from Vintage tonight is kinda like thinking the stripper likes you.
  8. No coach with any experience is coming here with “interim” in the title. More likely looking at a 3 year minimum term.
  9. I agree. That doesn’t mean I’m going to just sit back and complain online. It is time-consuming and soul-sucking trying to get justice but to just sit back and gripe is acceptance. Acceptance is defeat. I’m going to search out like-minded people, look for candidates that share my views and demand accountability. Non-traditional politicians are not all like Trump. We are getting closer and closer to electing people like Sanders,Yang, etc. I would love to see some Republican candidates like this.
  10. 7000 down to 6950. Nice to see you’ve moderated your opinion from all or every. No different from saying every Trump supporter is a racist. Neither is true.
  11. This lack of accountability especially in the public service sector is one of the main causes of the erosion of trust in our system.
  12. So much easier to sit back and piss and moan. Except when that is the sum total of of the effort you’re willing to put out then the politicians you are griping about have won. Sad to admit defeat so easily.
  13. That’s true for me as well but lots at home so I guess I still benefit.
  14. Yes as well as people who normally wear eyeglasses tend to touch their eyes less. Not so sure if that’s true though speaking as a person who wears reading glasses and rubs his eyes a lot.
