Funny thing is the pens started their streak with a win over us. That's also the last time we lost since going streaking ourselves lol- 518 replies

The fact the coil are have been on a huge downswing at the same time we have been on a huge upswing makes it oh so much better. Flames turn next as they will be living in back to back city soon enough -

Motte plays a high paced game. Now under BB our entire team minus chiasson plays that game, Thus exposing motte as the 1m dollar guy he is. Nothing wrong with that though I find we like to overvalue players in terms of on ice production vs wage. Dickinson is a good example. 2 and a half mill doesn't get you 20 goals and 40+ points anymore. Same for poolman, 2.5M isn't going to get you this noticeable picture perfect dman. For a total of 7.9% of the cap i'd say the trio of dickinson / motte / poolman gives you quality depth and they are paid accordingly -
We will light the sharks up tonight. I watch alot of hockey in general but even i forget they exist from time to time. Best players are anchors and old. If we can play our new found game i don't see these guys keeping up. Surprised by their record, Other teams must not be taking them seriously more often than not. They need to tank a few more years, Didn't build up enough prospect pool to push for getting out of round 1 let alone a cup. I suspect they start to fall and it all starts tonight!!!! 5-1 NUX ( dahlen scores so i have reading material for a while )

[Report] Canucks hire Derek Clancey as assistant GM

I swear the pens are always that one team that just gets destroyed by injuries to all top players, Yet their play doesn't change and they keep getting points ( good pro scouting? ) I know i'm not going to sit here and pretend i know more than JR, So i'm guessing this is a quality signing. Yay changes! -

If there is even a sliver of hope to do so, Man... even a injury prone old malkin-podz combo.. Could do wonders for him. I would find a way to make it work -
I would do so as well. Considering every day since the flames last played they keep getting more and more guys on protocol... Only smart we pull the plug early just incase. Only us and the ducks have played 30 games. Everyone else in our conference is 26-29.. Not falling behind by skipping a week or whatever

I would like to thank green personally. We all know how bad we have needed vets with loads of experience on the bench and in the front office. I really don't think aqua would have spent the big bucks on the front office if it wasnt for greener being worse than a cdc fan voted coaching system, We may not have seen this complete overhaul! Thank you green! In a funny turn of events you are the cause to all the problems, And solutions

On pace to sign malkin as a "vet" to help us get over the top next year? -
I love how this coaching staff also rides pears and it probably chaps alot of peoples asses Go canucks! Awesome comeback. We win 5 in a row while the coil lose 6. In less than 2 weeks we are only 4 points behind them and 9 out of first in the div with lots of divisional games coming up. It wont change people but this is a prime example of why you shouldn't write off a team soo early. little less than 2/3 of the season remains and we are within single digits already
