Starting to think most this fanbase is about to be mind blown by hronek ability if this many people ( not just here but all over social media ) think bear is this great defenseman haha. Man's a quality defender, nothing special. We have just had a decade of some of the worst dmen to ever play the game all at once on our roster. He's like the ideal depth guy you want to fill in for hronek / Hughes puck moving ability ect. I'd try to keep him around on a 1 year like I said before but I'm not doing the 3x3 ish like I see soo many suggest. That's insanity lol

1x1.3 - He's not a top pair guy with Hughes. Hronek owns the 2nd pair. Is bear a 3rd pair with those two above him? Meh he's a good insurance policy for when we need a more mobile defender but I'm sure he wants more opportunities than that. I'm not solid on anything more than a show me deal in a structured environment with a full off season and training camp. Good kid and love his character though.

If we end the year the way we are trending, Expect two are gold star clients barbashev and gavrikov. I'm not keep on UFA signings but if its a matter of essentially swapping out useless winger salary for two positional needs I'd do it. Playoffs or bust regardless next year

True. To me... We can cheer for the better draft odds.... But crying about a win goes against the big picture. This ship needs to turn around for next season and we set ourselves up with a 3 month training camp in preparation. Can't be mad at the positive steps we have taken without even icing our best possible lineup
