All I want to do is focus futures and bringing in as many positive assets as possible prior to ascending to a playoff team. The Canucks want to skip past that stage and invest into the main roster instead. I don't agree at all. However there is absolutely no point running it back with the same defense just add Hronek.. Nothing will improve till we have a stable top 4. UFA shopping is suspect as well as we all know lol IF we land livingstone and especially a 2nd NCAA guy I would strongly consider finding another top 4 D to play with Hronek using our 9th or so pick + obviously moving Garland or boesers contract finally off the damn books. I just don't see a point in having a top 10 pick, Followed by a bunch of late picks and pretending like we are focusing the system while also just running it back because we are unwilling to do what it takes to fix the defensive issues.
