    First of all, it’s eye rolling to see people call him a 3c. 3rd line winger? Sure, but he is not a 3rd line centre. I don’t hate the guy, nor do I care if anyone disagrees with me. He is someone you can acquire every day for less. He has absolutely no upside.

    I work in Texas and live in BC. I’ve watched a lot of him. I don’t hate him I just think a 3rd is a little much for this guy. He is generic and will make little impact. Jim has had 7 years to draft and develop a 3rd C. Why are we still spending draft picks? If he held onto more or acquired more from the start, we’d have a guy graduating to this position. It’s just another symptom of his poor planning.

    You literally just expanded on my point. jason Dickinson can’t score goals. He is not supplementary offence when the top line gets shut down. He shuts himself down though.

    Do what Jim does best and draft a hockey team, let his mistakes expire and when all the poo comes off the books his players he is developing will begin to emerge. We just keep going in circles. Wait for contract to expire, Have cap, spend cap, wait for contracts to expire….

    He doesn’t know what to do with the puck so he just dumps it. he is a straight line North and South player He sucks at face offs. to be completely honest, he would be far better on the wing where he can dig the puck out of the scums and give it to someone that isn’t completely useless with it.

    Haha, ok. Who needs goals from a bottom 6 forward. Look how great it works for Edmonton. Any time Jim gives a pick for a penalty killer it’s a complete waste of an asset because he has had 7 years to develop this guy but instead he is always cashing in for instant help that almost always becomes extremely underwhelming. Trust me, don’t get excited.

    According to someone on Twitter I’m too lazy to quote. the money and term weren’t a factor. He is looking for better situation. You know this is a team going off the rails when the longest serving Canuck has had enough. #winningculture
