  1. Good guy, seemed to work hard on every shift, but ultimately made no significant difference to whatever line he was on. That pick might be handy to sweeten up a deal? We'll know by the end of the day
  2. I expected more from the Wild tbh. Take Kaprisov out of the lineup and they've got nothing. They're good at stifling other teams but if you could shut down Kaprisov you'd probably win Demko looked good, so we're all happy again right?
  3. Strange 2 man advantage for the Wild, they didn't seem to have any urgency and the PP just evaporated
  4. Demko's going to get a work out tonight. 10 shots in the first 10 minutes. We can't go on letting them have free shots at goal
  5. Hopefully we can play well, lose, and come away with no more injuries. The Wild are a big heavy team that like to throw their weight around.
  6. Any ideas the Leaves had that they are a good team were dispelled by the OIlers. The Oil took care of Matthews and TO didn't have a whole lot else to offer. Spirited scrap between RNH and Holl, with RNH landing a couple of decent rights. Entertaining game
  7. From the Hockey News April 2022: "As a player, Bloom is a tremendous skater, and always has been. Scouts love his decision-making with the puck and he possesses a solid release on his wrist shot that, as he continues to grow as a shooter willing to take chances with the puck, only gets better with time. As his game is developed, he's more willing to take risks to make the best play possible, something that wasn't evident in his more guarded play early on his career. Bloom told Sabres media after getting drafted that he wanted to show everyone how he grew as a player despite missing an entire season: he proved that with and without the puck. The Sabres didn't need to sign Bloom this early, so they clearly think he must have a shot at making the NHL next year, as small as it may be. This is a win for the franchise, and, more importantly, a win for the Oakville, Ont. native. Bloom's hard work paid off into a successful season, personally, for the winger, and he's only going to get better from here."
