Then you're not going to like this.

Thing is, the experimental part really isn't a valid talking point.  The Vaccines went through all the phased trials, and had tens of thousands of participants during those trials.  They also got really good data regarding potential exposure to the virus during those trials.  Those participants in the Phase 3 trial were fully vaccinated last fall, so there will be people who have been fully vaccinated for around one full year providing data before authorization for 2 to 11 year old children will occur.  If the vaccines are truly as dangerous as anti-vaxxers make them out to be, then those participants shouldn't be around to see the 2021/22 Canucks play.

Phase 4 (continued monitoring that studies the side effects caused over time by a new treatment after it has been approved and is on the market. These trials look for side effects that were not seen in earlier trials and may also study how well a new treatment works over a long period of time) has been ongoing.  That is why the J&J and AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine clotting issues were detected.  Thing is, like those clotting issues, these effects are really something that shows up early on after getting injected.  The fears of some 2 plus year side effects is overblown and misplaced.  So, by the time approval for younger children happens, there will be hundreds of millions of fully vaccinated people who have been vaccinated for months, providing plenty of data to demonstrate what potential side effects to expect, as well as the likelyhood of said side effects.

Pfizer to seek authorization for Covid-19 vaccine for children ages 2 to 11 in September

People religiously avoid foods which may give them cancer 30 years down the road but stampede to Pfizer. No upside for kids. It's that simple.

    Good news.

I would never recommend kids take this vax, unless maybe they have an underlying condition or are obese. I have taken the vax specifically so younger people would not feel obligated to take an experimental vax to protect me. Trumps vaccine was rushed through the process. Why take a risk if you're not at risk to begin with. Pregnant women now are OK'd for the vax???!!!  Wow.

I get that there are a lot of intelligent people on these forums. Big IQ, big credentials.

I pose that we do away with the silly jabs of the 3 hr instance where cars idle and people are disrupted. There is a greater purpose here. Ocean acidification is directly affecting us now. Freshwaters in peril. It's no joke. Listen to experts re: The wall of co2 that shows up in data dating back 11,000 years. Human tech was/is trying on Earth.

Watch Seaspiracy on Neftflix if you want to see a biggest environmental issue the earth faces. It's commercial fishing.

I've got more desire in my left nut.

Tram left because he had too much desire. He wanted the ice time he deserved. He didn't want to play, or didn't understand, the "wait your turn" game. Maybe Tram is not too swift, a bit weird, or super stubborn. Whatever, these are bad times canuckville.

  5. What was Jake doing out there in the last minute yesterday? When we need the win Green has to swallow his pride and play his best, just like he did in the playoffs last year when things were dire. Jake brought us through then, but bingo, back to the bottom in the next series.

All joking aside, I certainly respect your viewpoint but Lazy Jake has had so many chances on the top line, the 2nd line, the 3rd line and the 4th line, that I've lost count.  TG has tried to slot him in on pretty well every line combo possible overt the years and he can't seem to find his place.   He's been given ample chances and he can seem to put a full 60 minute effort in, let alone back to back games,  At some point you just have to move on and that's where were at with him.   Best for him and the team if he's traded ASAP as he's taking up valuable oxygen that other younger, more motivated players earned and deserved.

    The Jake experiment is over!

It may be and that's too bad for us. We will pay. Let him play, make tons of mistakes (like the others) and watch us win.

Where Hockey Meets Art — wallpapers • jake virtanen + cute aesthetic...

hehehe. Well I just want to win. Jake is a victim of hockey culture like Tryamkin. Tree was  arguably our best defenseman but whinged about ice time and ended up gone over it. He did deserve the ice time but culture dictated he had to spend time in the penalty box. Another of his issues was he came to camp out of shape too, if I remember correctly. Anyway, my point is, if we want to win we have to suck up to these primma donna types. Jake is great on the top line as long as we forget about punishing him or expecting him to earn his time playing on the third line playing like a third liner. It's not gonna happen. He needs to be gifted the top line permanently like Petersson and Brock both of who both make humungous amounts of mistakes and we think nothing of it, even encourage it .

I have read this like 4 times now and I think that you may actually believe Jake Virtanen is a top line player. :frantic:

Yes, and he sucks when he's not playing on the top line with other top line players, being the top line player that he is.

  9. Jake is a top line player now, and when he plays on the top line he doesn't make any more mistakes than any other top line player. Unfortunately he gets screwed over and moved down or sat down way quicker than anyone else would. In fact it's pretty much impossible for other top line players to get moved down no matter how bad they play. So Jake is getting screwed over as are canuck fans afaiac. Jake has the perfect physique for winning playoff series so no way do we let him go.
