  1. Imagine having that little faith in Stillman Especially when Poolman is going to be healthy soon Salute your tank commanders, current and future.
  2. If we draft in the top 3 and land one of: bedard, michkov, fantilli i am getting a stillman jersey and will make it a family heirloom.
  3. Not even Benning could have pulled together a Stillman-Poolman pairing. I am legitimately excited for that. need poolman healthy as soon as possible.
  4. The man is going to get us Bedard and receive 0 thanks he will finish his predecessors work he is the chosen one
  5. Psht Shorty thinks Stillman panicked? stillman is the only one on mission. salute your tankmaster general. The only Canuck doing what it takes to bring us bedard
  6. I would go to the game, and spare no expense. Oh what I would give to have been at Loui’s first game as a Canuck
  7. Imagine if all of us were right, that playing Quinn for 30+ minutes in order to get a desperate win against the Arizona tragedies coyotes, was in fact, a bad idea.
  8. Real judgement time is going to be this coming offseason if they fail to pick a direction and make more excuses, then sack them all
  9. And Stillman retires his role as Tank Commander (salute) and becomes a top pair right hand defenseman: the perfect partner for Hughes for the next Decade
  10. This is the “reduce the cost of re-signing kuz & pump Brock’s value at the same time” lineup I approve.
  11. Because in a similar way, this group is unwilling to let the team take a step backwards. This management group is just way more analytical than Benning, who mostly shot from the hip. I don't buy their statements that it was impossible to make moves. I think they had very different beliefs on the market value of the players, held out for top dollar, didn't get it, and thats all she wrote. Plenty of other teams were able to shed cap, or acquire RHD, or move high end players on expensive contracts, etc. Im so jealous of what Montreal was able to pull off. They're going to be so good in a couple years.
  12. Honestly it’d be absurd to expect kuzmenko to take a discount, why would he? He’s been here a few months, and he’s missed several years of nhl earnings. He can, should, and will grab as big a bag as he can, from whichever team is willing to pay him.
  13. What an awful situation to be in. Will be lucky to get a 3rd round pick for him I suppose, and some other team will get a great reclamation project.
  14. He does deserve better. He’s being played 13 mins a night (surplus of scoring wingers). Not sure how much more we expect from him on that limited deployment.
  15. A lot of very good defensemen moved including Marino, Romanov, McDonough. I don’t buy their assertion that they weren’t available. I think they just weren’t willing to pay what other teams were, figuring that this D core had more to give
  16. Obviously Boeser and Garland underperforming is on them not being better than Miller/Horvat/Petey/Mikheyev/Kuzmenko, but it’s also on management for loading up on scorers. 2 of our scorers we’re going to get squeezed out by managements decision to blow our remaining cap space on Mikheyev without moving out one of our wingers. as a result, there’s not enough ice time to go around for Boeser. He’s not going to look good playing 13 mins, as Dries’ winger. We’re probably going to get scraps for Boeser, but wouldn’t have if management actually focused on our defence and penalty kill instead of just loading up on top-6 forwards. Very poorly executed offseason.
