No apology apparently. Im forking livid. "As much as we pray Mitchell will eventually see the damage he did to our son, we have seen no remorse. The other gentleman had a sincere apology to our son and our son forgave him. The magistrate said it best: 'Mitchell, I don’t think you are remorseful for what you did more than you are upset for the negative attention you are getting.' "Again, the bully incident that continued over years has damaged our son mentally significantly and your organization is more concerned about Mitchell and your hockey success." Myers, we need you to teach one more lesson.

only thing i can think of is his broken foot from the spring didnt heal correctly? -
Let the Bruins have him. I know he was in 8th grade but my god, what he did was revolting. I believe in second chances, i just find it hard to believe that the same person that did all of those things is actually capable of real empathy. Idk. He literally tortured another kid who had an intellectual disability. I hope a conscience is something that you can in fact grow and that he's a good person now.

The thing that confuses me is how tentative he is with the puck now. He looks anxious to get it off his stick ASAP. He wont carry it more than a couple strides. Remember this absolute beast who would fearlessly take the puck end to end? His positional awareness hasn't been great either, and he's getting beat easily while skating backwards (though if he's playing through a leg injury that last bit makes sense). -

I mean.. Chychrun would be a significant upgrade, but i suppose hes getting a big payday after his contract expires your point is taken - once they get to 27-28 years old they get very expensive -

An OEL buyout could make sense if this poor play isn't due to some injury. A couple of years at 4.7m cap hit, but most of the years at around 2m. Would represent 5m in savings, and we could get a significant upgrade on OEL for 5m. -

Honestly i find it hard to blame them this management group ditched whatever remaining penalty killers we had (Highmore, Lammikko, Motte, Dickinson) and in total, replaced them with Mikheyev and Lazar. With also dont have any true penalty killing defensemen left on the roster. Somehow all the bottom pairing defensemen jr/pa have collected are all of the non-penalty killing variety. -

Thats a bit of a st(r)etch(er) -
bergeron and sewer-rat lead by example and have set an extremely high standard for effort, conditioning, and skill. they also have one of the deepest defensive cores in the whole league - they were winning most of their games even when down 4 out of their 6 starting defensemen, and were still able to ice a nhl caliber blueline.
