Is this a joke? How is Bobrovsky being compared to Markstorm? Bobrovsky's had a long career of great goaltending. Markstorm had one decent year last year and the stats still looked bad on paper. I think it is pretty much fact that if your goalie is having a great season, your team wouldn't be a bottomfeeder. Because your goalie gives you a chance to win every game like Carey Price for Montreal and Lundqvist for NYR a few years back. Well, we were bottomfeeders last season. How does Bobrovsky's contract being bad makes Markstorm's contract good? Are there just 2 goalies in the NHL? All the other goalies contracts all turns good because of Bobrovsky's contract?

Dont get the argument for Eriksson here. He is not even trying as a NHL player. If he works as hard as Motte, it would have been noticeable and the criticism here would be cut in half. So the problem with Eriksson is simple. He gets paid top dollar, doesn't produce like a top player, and is lazy and dragging down the team.

So basically scraps that even our crappy team doesnt want for a 1st round prospect, a conditional 1st round pick and also lose around 10mil cap space in a season where all the teams are trying to reduce their cap?
