  1. Maybe you missed it? Schenn received a GI penalty call for pushing a Devil into the crease and against Halak
  2. No they didn’t. It was anticipated that Halak had experience to rub off on Demko making Demmer that much more equipped as the foreseeable starter, and, be able to balance out a heavier GP load which Demko has proven he’s capable of.
  3. Can’t knock mgmt for the Halak signing. No one anticipated he would be this poor. Think he should admit it’s time for a change of scenery…to ARZ. Not a good look to end a storied career.
  4. Throw some goalie pads on Myers and let him have a nap in the crease. will still end up with a better save percentage than Halak tonight
  5. Frustration. He keeps getting left hung out to dry when he plays, but he’s not doing himself any favours with his positional and reactionary play. This last goal he didn’t even slide across, he shuffled and left half the net open for what should have easily been a clean goal. I dont know if he’s just having a serious run of bad luck but this are not going his way when he starts
  6. While I agree, I’m arguing this from the Rags perspective / devil’s advocate. 1st overall generally should garner 3-4 years to develop in the NHL and prove their draft position, imho. to put it bluntly, we gave 6 years I think to Jake Virtanen. and when was the last time the Nux drafted 1st overall, had their pick of the best junior player in the world. In the last 50 years? Not once. that’s how valuable a 1st overall pick is to any franchise.
  7. 1 year removed from 1st overall pick. 1st overall. I agree Miller is worth more, but that said, to the Rags, Laffy is their future superstar elite F. He’s worth as much to them in his state now as Miller is to us. I love Miller as a player and for what he represents/his importance to the Nux, but if I was the Rags, I wouldn’t trade Lafreniere for Miller in any way. Especially when after 1 more season you’re looking at a potential 6-8million cap difference between the two. the only way it makes sense is if the Rags think they can use Miller for a cup run AND also potentially recoup what they lost in Lafreniere by trading JTM if the wheels come off. All it takes is two major injuries and playoff hopes can be dashed. major risk/reward on both sides, imho
  8. You can thank Travis “we don’t know what we’re doing” Green for that, imho. there hasn’t been any significant roster changes since his firing so pretty easy to determine he was a major part of the problem
  9. It was a mutual PR project that once the attention wore off it was realized he’s not capable, he disrupts team chemistry and likely offends current players who have worked or deserve their roster spot above some self-hyping Neanderthal who isnt so much a hockey player but an antagonist. He’s not really useful in any capacity.
  10. because i like hearing what others think
  11. They realized he was already washed up and he couldn’t supplant anyone on the current roster to even be activated
  12. Not yet. But he has shown glimpses of that as well as solid offensive intelligence. Give him some time and I believe your opinion of him will change for the better
  13. Hamonic needs time to find his game considering how much he’s missed but man, wouldn’t he be such an addition if playing up to form?
  14. Thoughts on Boeser + ($$$ would likely need to go out) to CBJ for Laine? personally I wouldn’t do it simply because I don’t like Laine’s personality type, streakiness, and concern for his next contract value, but wanted to see what others thought.
  15. For some, there’s a right hand side of that photo that can’t be shown on this forum.
