  1. Yeah don’t play that style if you can’t back it up. He only does so because CGY has a few bodies who will stand up for him and his dirty work. the cowtown coward.
  2. What a POS. At least have some pride and stand up for yourself, gutless puke. look at him scurry like the rodent he is trying to escape Kass. Haha love it. Thank you!
  3. Really hope Dickinson can take a step and earn that contract value. Seems like a good guy with his down to earth nature and blue collar work ethic, but in all honesty he’s got to bring more to his game for that cap hit. Hate to say it but so invisible some nights
  4. Yeah and that’s the niche in the show biz side of the hockey. Kinda parasitic. Takes politician level “charisma” to do this professionally, claim to your following you’re amongst the best at it, and then maintain it as a career… on the flip side, some of these guys are simply PR pawns. Ahem, Dreger I’ll admit I’m part of the problem though because I’m the type of fan who loves all aspects of the game, including the hypothetical.
  5. The rumour is those two are apparently already on the table in an offer for Chychrun. ARZ wants Byfield in a package though.
  6. Yeah i hear ya. imho I think he’ll fetch 8-8.5mill per, maybe even a bit more, as UFA. Definitely worth that for the right team who is positioned, with him, to contend. He’d help us for sure but we’re just not there right now. Would love to see him with EP though.
  7. Assets could be better served trading for youth. He doesn’t fit the window if we’re retooling to a younger team. I’d risk leaving it and trying to sign him in the offseason. It would cost a pretty penny right now to get him under contract when he could possibly cash in as UFA.
  8. Apologies, read an article referencing Poolman was close to returning, speculating he’s a week away, and that his issue is the recurring migraines he’s had in the past. care to delete my post then please and thanks!
  9. With the news that D’Angelo is now out for a month, what about shipping Poolman to the Canes for a 4th or 5th round pick? I mean, they now have Jalen Chatfield playing 2nd line duty.
  10. Would love FF with EP but in no way whatsoever should we be giving up any asset for a pending UFA atm. Highly doubt JR/PA are considering that route as well.
  11. It’s greazy but it’s within Gary’s rules. Maaaan, could you imagine if the Nux were already positioned as safely playoff bound and at the trade deadline put Myers or OEL on the IR shelf (healthy Dman for playoffs) until then with that much cap to add to the team roster? I do that every trade deadline - watch the coverage all the while imagining the Canucks were contenders and who they may have been able to add at what cost. One day soon let’s hope
  12. no man i'm not saying that at all and didn't mean to disrespect you at all. there's just so much more to the story that people don't readily consider. the personality didn't match at the time unfortunately with some character guys in the room. its too bad because if that wasn't a case at all i think he probably would have reached potential faster with Vancouver. I was excited for him with this club, but its a business. And you can't let personalities sour a multi million dollar business. Its too bad, but they had to accept/cut the loss. Apparently, a couple other teams had to as well. There's not just some fan speculated management short sightedness when it comes to trades. Sometimes you just have to make a change for chemistry reasons. Eg. Nate Schmidt
  13. Foot speed definitely included, as an aggregate it would be excellent value at 6 mill for that term in the upcoming market.
  14. McCann was selected by the Vancouver Canucks in the first round (24th overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, McCann has previously played for the Canucks, Florida Panthers and Pittsburgh Penguins. Was also property of the Toronto Maple Leafs and then picked in expansion by the Seattle Kraken. No offense meant but can we please get over this guy. it’s been 7 years and we weren’t the only team that’s passed on him. he’s almost 26, having a great season and kudos to him, but not many prospects are held onto that long in the same organization to prove they are a top 6 guy in the NHL.
  15. For sure and he could possibly be a great fit for our club. it’s just a personal thing. Some players you’re just more fond of than others. I’d like a different style of player for our top lines. A bigger body who can use it, with speed and IQ. That’s a lot to ask, yes, but it’s on my wish list for Santa Jim.
  16. I’m just not a Nylander fan, hence the regurg of thinking about having to watch him play on my fave club.
  17. We also need to acquire players with a winner’s mentality if possible. wasn’t Bruce just the other day explaining how difficult it can be to exorcise the loser/woe is me fragility? theres a few reasons why the Laffs don’t go deep in the playoffs, and that’s one of them
